the staffs in the office are super busy, courteous, professional, so Camille and the team do deserve recognition, but if I didn't have to spend 4 years there, (the doctor actually told me at one point that he's done everything he could, and I don't even have a terminal illness) I wouldn't know about it.

(updated 7/11/2022) I had the same doctor for almost 4 years and he wouldn't believe the things I was telling him, it took me 3.5 years to figure out something is going on, I went to see a physical therapist on my own and he told me to ask my doctor to get tested for a certain illness and my doctor wouldn't do it unless I get a note from the physical therapist. I finally went to see another doctor and he tested me for that illness without my knowledge and turns out I do have that illness. it's really maddening. It took me awhile to understand that doctor appeared to be upset because vaccine and virus related issues are medical issues and other people can contract it if any one of us is sick, then again, I've been told by everyone to find another physician because the doctor isn't supportive. The doctor is great, knowledgeable, knows exactly what's going on, 5 minutes away from my house, I have no complaints here, but the doctor doesn't like me. What can I say. The male staff keeps putting me on hold (this happened before) either because the doctor doesn't want to deal with my issue or because they're incredibly busy. I hung up when I spoke to the female staff and when i called back, they hung up on me twice on purpose and when I called back I was on hold until 4pm. I called again the following week, I was put on hold as long as possible until it automatically hung up on me like 4 times. My test results was supposed to be ready in 3-4 days but I had to call several times to request the result. They're extremely extremely busy, who knows why but it's not my fault that they're shorthanded. Last time I went to see the doctor he was kind of suggesting like I was trying to do something illegal and refused to provide documentation for it. I believe I have been rejected by this office for good and I don't know what I did wrong other than going to see them because I really do have...

I am dismayed and quite frankly shocked with my recent experience at Bethesda MedStar, especially with Dr. Horwitz, the Medical Director. After having rescheduled lab test and physical exam appointments that were previously canceled without my notice, I was again informed, upon arrival to the office, that rescheduled lab test and annual physical appointments had been canceled again, despite them still appearing in my MedStar Portal. This was the second time this issue occurred in 2 months, causing delays in receiving important care that I have not received from my PCP in over a year due to these cancellations.

When I shared my concerns about the repeated unannounced cancellations, Dr. Horwitz disagreed with my account and stated that I had been indeed notified, which was confusing and frustrating. Her constant interruptions of my account and her berating me as if I were a child were uncalled for. I felt the interaction became tense and uncomfortable, with her screaming at me in front of her patients and staff and she asked me to leave instead of being provided the care that I pay MedStar for and that was scheduled for that day according to the MedStar Portal. Indeed, the patients sitting in the waiting room were stunned at her demeanor and asked me if I was okay given the circumstances.

Do not go here they will take you back check on you one time and leave you and close up the whole facility. My mother was in here today. She was there around 3 o’clock and she just left @5:20 .At 5:20 the nurse or whoever came back one time and never again the doctor was supposed to come back and read her results for what she was there for, and they never came back She realize she was waiting for an excessive amount of time so she decided to go out to look for somebody and there was nobody in sight besides People painting this is very unprofessional. She’s an older woman Who was by herself and needed assistance. Since she was there, she use her last bit of money to pay for parking because she was there for over two hours not being helped at all, just sitting in the back, waiting for people who decided to close up And leave . How do you forget about a patient that you were supposed to be servicing? This is The most unprofessional establishment ever. The whole establishment needs to be reviewed.
