I purchased numerous batteries from them over the years. The battery on my vehicle wouldn't take a charge for more than a few days. AAA came to my home and recharged it but told me it needed to be replaced. The technician showed me the screen that confirmed this. Went back to Batteries Plus and they tested the battery and said it was still good. They insisted that I had some sort of electrical problem that was causing the battery to discharge. When it went dead once again I called AAA. They picked up my vehicle and towed it to their location on Dorchester Road. As I have the lowest level of AAA protection, I had to pay $86 for the tow. They installed a new battery and confirmed that they could find no problem with the electrical system. That was over three months ago. My vehicle is running great now thanks to AAA. When I purchased the battery from Batteries Plus I was told that it had a three year guarantee. When I first notified them that there was an issue I still had eleven months on my warranty. It would appear that they dodged their warranty obligation by claiming that there was no problem with an obviously defective product. They falsely claimed that the problem was the electrical system on my vehicle. That's one way to weasel out of a warranty. Sleazy, corrupt, incompetent. These creeps cost me a lot more than the tow fee as I had to close down my online sales business while my only transportation was disabled. I depend on this extra income to supplement my rather meagre Social Security payment. Because of these scammers I lost at least $700 in sales during the time my vehicle was down. I hope that they treat the average senior citizen better than they treated me. I should note that the two male employees were part of this scheme. The female employee was...
Read moreDON'T GO HERE. This place is a scam for phone repairs.
First of all I got my cracked screen repaired only to have to take it back a week later for another repair because it quit working. On the second repair is stopped working again after 2 months. I figured at this point I might as well fix it my self. These were my findings.
1.The battery install is wrong and it rubs on the back side of the screen.
They didn't even touch the water seal even though it's suppose to get replaced with the screen. This led to some places having no seal and some have a huge ball of it.
Because of that the screen never sat flat in the first place which was why it was so iffy on touch sensitivity and didn't work as good as when I first brought it in.
It's dirty as heck with filings from their last repair from the removable plastic that comes with a new screen.
I bought a whole new phone because it quit working and it turns out I didn't even need too. It took me a less than 30 minute repair to get it working like it just came from the factory. They'be replaced the screen twice and messed it up twice.
I repeat. This place doesn't do phone repairs well. These images show how half hearted and lazy they were with the repair.
DO NOT GO HERE FOR A SCREEN REPAIR UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
At this point even I'd repair your phone for the cost of parts (usually 20 bucks) with 20 bucks on top as a service charge. That's a helluva discount compared to their $100 half done...
