Be careful with this company’s questionable sales tactics!!!

After waiting over 6 weeks, I received my low quality, third party items dented and damaged! The items came from a brand not listed on their “brand list” but rather a mall furniture store..

I wrote in since no one ever answers the phone, (probably should have been a sign when I tried to place the order.. ) none the less I expressed my dissatisfaction and concerns. The email I received was anything but good customer service, it was caddy and presumptuous. Loosely implying I can’t afford better quality goods and it was my fault I chose a budget centered item.. (but is $300 for a tiny draw and shelf that is ikea quality but cost 5 times as much really budget friendly?)

All said, the return policy states, I have to submit a series of pictures of the box, the damage item and then have to ship it back at my expense and after all that once they receive it, they will decide if a return issued!

I should have bought from Etsy like I intended too! Give those real quality small business your money, not furniture brokers...

I cannot say enough about this store and the owners. They helped me and my wife with the daunting task of picking out the perfect couch for our first home. Becky patiently sat with my wife going over different styles of couches and various types of fabrics, until the perfect matches were made. Meanwhile, I walked around this beautifully curated store wishing I could make numerous purchases. I definitely have a list, and I will be back for more of their tasteful modern furniture. To top everything off, it was nice to support a local small business that gives the customer care and attention that is not found in a big box furniture store. What a surprise to find such a knowledgable mid century modern expert in the South Carolina low country. We have been fans of MCM for some time and finally got a chance to decorate a home in this style working with Janice Hoppmann at Hausful. She really listened to our design and our budget goals paying due respect to each. We never felt that she was imposing her desires on what we wanted, rather she was a conduit to help us express our design objectives. She was infinitely patient, exceedingly detail oriented and very well versed in what MCM means.
