I really do hate to say negative things about a new restaurant, especially during these times. But, I could have driven down I-26 and thrown $22 out of the window and been happier about wasting my money than buying food from here. I ordered General Tso's chicken and cheese wontons. The wontons were made from a really thick dough, and were hard to eat. Very little flavor, and a completely inappropriate dipping sauce. It was a chili sauce. I have never been served wonton appetizer with anything but a sweet and sour sauce. Not good.
It gets worse. I asked the woman who took my order if the asterisk on the menu meant 'spciy', which it usually does, She said it did. I got home, and it smelled and looked pretty good. But when I tasted it, it was bland and had very little flavor. Worse, the chicken was like eating rocks it was so hard. It is impossible to cut it with a fork. The sauce has the consistency of snot. So if you enjoy rocks covered with snot, you've found your go-to place!
The food may not have been hot (meaning spicy), but the dining room was unbearably hot. It must have been at least 80 degrees in there. I had to stand outside while my food was being prepared. I should have know, I guess, since there were only two other customers.
Save yourself some money. Save yourself wear and tear on your teeth! Stick with Red Orchids or Ko Cha, which is what I...
Read moreIf I could give this restaurant a zero I would. I ordered the 8 piece plain chicken with shrimp fried rice. The rice was not fresh - it hard and dry. The chicken was just okay. Also, I order a 6 piece honey mustard chicken. Mind you, all of their chicken wings are extremely small to begin with but my order only had 4 pieces and not the 6 pieces I ordered so I called to inform them and the giy was extremely rude. He said the GrubHub driver must have opened the bag. That's not true - the bag was stapled when the driver gave the food to me. Instead of owning the error and apologize, he got defensive and said I was lying and that his chef said there were 6 pieces of honey mustard wings. Really? This was very unprofessional and unacceptable for me. I will never patronize this restaurant again and I do not recommend them. Save your money for a restaurant that respects and honor...

Let me first say that I think most food establishments in West Ashley are subpar in comparison to the rest of Charleston. We received a flier in the mail with a 10% off coupon and decided to give it a shot. Calling ahead, I ordered steamed dumplings, sesame chicken, and egg rolls. The young woman on the phone spoke clearly and said it would be ready in 10 minutes. I showed up about 13 minutes later, picked up my order and drove home.
Both the chicken and broccoli tasted fresh and had a nice crunch that wasn’t too crunchy. The dumplings were perfectly steamed with a delicious filling that paired well with the dumpling sauce.
All that said, this is a “fast food / take-out” restaurant so don’t go there expecting more than...
