I had a traumatizing experience over the phone with this goodwill department. I was shouted at by an evil man named Kevin who was just rude and disrespectful and mean! Here’s my story. I called into this goodwill department store to ask if they had any Taylor swift marchendis currently for sale on their shelves and I talked to a very sweet woman whomst told me that they had the 1989 CD by Taylor Saift. I was so thrilled to hear this good news and I asked Mary, the lady, if she would be able to put this CD on hold for me for a few days until I could come in and purchase this. Mary was very easy and accommodating to my purpose, I was ever so great full. She told me that she could absolutely under all circumstances given to my situation that she could absolute out this on hold for me. She told me to rest assured knowing this CD would be at the ready for me to purchase when I arrived to this goodwill location department/commercial shop. I told Mary god bless you and then we exchanged personal numbers and I hung up. However even though this experience with Mary over the phone was nothing short of good, I had an awful experience a few days later over the phone with him, Kevin, the manager of this goodwill department marketplace. I was calling in to confirm that my pickup was ready for this, and I was shocked by the news. Kevin told me that they do not put CDS on hold and he even claimed that they do not put anything on hold, there was however a lack of evidence that this was even true or the case. He said they didn’t have 1989 CD on hold for me. I told him about my call with Mary, he tried to lie and tell me that there wasn’t even a person named Mary who works at this goodwill trading post, I was shocked at the gas being lit here. I argued with Kevin on the phone for about 20 minutes before he told me that he wasn’t going to “waste his time arguing with me”. If you consider solving customer issues WASTING your time, then maybe it’s time for you to consider a new career, Levin....
Read moreI almost always have a stellar experience when shopping here. Store manager Mike, and employees such as Karn , Arc, Riley, and Dana are so professional, helpful, and caring. They all truly care that you have a pleasant and awesome experience at the store. I only have one concern/complaint. We are frequesnt shoppers at the store and we will often avoid (when we can) dealing with Andrew E. He is very arrogant and often makes customers feel very small. He questions everything and not in a good employee way, but a belittling way. I needed assistance with a stand to be taken to my vehicle, asking for someone to help loading it. When he brought the stand out, he yelled, and I quote, "I thought you were going to help with this!" I am 60+ yrs old. I would like anything more than to be able to lift the stand but I can not medically do so. Andrew did a great job making someone with medical limitations who was even parked in handicap spot with plaque visible feel humiliated. Overall, I can't say enough good about the store, just one big issue that needs...
Read moreAbsolutely horrid experience. Not even from the area.
Had to overhear an elder tell his wife that their CC system was down, and it was cash only with no holds.
Nobody was notifying customers about this, and there were no signs on the door.
Extremely inconvenient if youre only passing through town. Very little people carry cash nowadays. You can cancel your card, you can't cancel cash that was stolen.
Had to run to Get-Go since it was a no hold and then return with cash. Was only 8 bucks short, and John, who I assume was a Manager, wouldn't budge on the price, or offer a First Responder discount.
He actually took our items away and THREW everything to the other counter when he was made aware we would have to go back to the ATM and return.
He was EXTREMELY ignorant, and VERY stand-offish.
Glad we were only passing through town, and the chances of us returning are slim to none.
Should have read the reviews before we even entered to be quite honest. You guys declined a job to an Autistic individual... really?
Lowest of the...
