Aldi is the most affordable grocery store in the area, that's for sure. Off brand products most of the time, but occassionally they'll have name brand stuff, which I think might be overstock from other local stores. Name brand stuff that you find at Giant Eagle or Walmart can be found at Aldi for about half the price (if they happen to get it in stock). But honestly if you don't care about brands at all then Aldi is clearly the way to go. It's impossible to get lost, or lose someone in there, which is great for taking kids or elderly relatives. The only things you must remember: They don't employ cart attendants, so they have 25 cent rental shopping carts so that you have an incentive to return them. To use a cart you unlock it with a quarter, and when you return it & lock it in place you get your quarter back. So bring a quarter if you need a cart. Also, they do not have free shopping bags (neither paper nor plastic are available for free). They do have heavy-duty reusable plastic totes that you can buy at the register if you forget your bags, but you do have to pay for them, so remember...

PNC I know alot of people say it's a long wait time but honestly I'd rather have them double check alarm cross their t's than have...
