Tried calling to order a pizza for delivery at 7:45 on a Friday night, call center says my address is not in the delivery area, I live 1.9 miles (less than 5 min) from the Irwin store and have had delivery many times before. Tried ordering online, same result. Called back again and call center tried connecting me directly with the store, they answered then immediately hung up. After a few, decided to go out and order/pick up in person. Drove to the Irwin store and arrived at about 8:20. Looked at the posted store hours on the door and it said open until 10pm. I opened the door and walked in, the lady behind the counter rolled her eyes at me coming into the store. I approached the counter and asked to place a to go order. She informed me that they were closing in 5 min and could not complete my order. I stated that the posted hours said 10pm, they told me they did not have enough staff to stay open.There was at least 2 other people behind the counter and I also passed 2 delivery drivers leaving the parking lot when I entered. It doesn't take a large staff to make pizzas, a business should remain open during there posted hours, short staffed or not. Do what you can to take care of the public that pays your salary. Read moreIve ordered from this location several times over the last few years but the last 4 times have been taxing. There are alot of other options in the area and i dont think this location cares about gainong my repeat business. 2 times before rhey were out of a certain kind of crust, in this case pan, the last time i ordered i showed up after 35min to learn that my pizza wasnt even started. Tonight when my girlfriend and I showed up to pick our pizza which wasn't exactly what we wanted to begin with they seemed irritated by our presence and their computer system wouldn't recognize my credit card unless I typed in the entire number myself. The gentleman that was working there seemed rude and irritated. I've given this location several opportunities to gain my repeat business and redeem the poor service and lack of inventory from the past but I'm now going to consistently take my business elsewhere because this location just doesn't care. After waiting almost 2 hours for the delivery we called to inquire, and were told the order was delivered and signed for, but not by us!!! We were placed on hold multiple times, each time upwards of 20 minutes. When I asked to speak with a manager, the person answering the call communicated to her manager by swearing while I was still on the call. To remedy, I was told my card would be refunded in 5 days. We were not offered to have a meal delivered. Unacceptable!! I also expressed concern for my name being signed and credit card information being given someone that was NOT in my household. The manager continued to argue that it was signed by the address given! We have proof on our home camera, that the delivery was not at our home, which was communicated to the manager, who continued to argue! Totally RUDE and unprofessional ! BEWARE!
