TERRIBLE PLACE
I have given this place two chances now, but it has failed me time and again. There are so many things wrong with this place, where to start? Here are a few of the highlights:
Expect to be greeted with a rude attitude when you walk through the door. The negative energy and vibe as you walk in is so palpable that if you had half a brain, you would turn around and walk out and go elsewhere. This place is dirty and does not keep proper cleaning practices. Take a look at the floor and this will clue you in. I can only wonder how unclean their nail instruments are. The man who works there is a wicked, dishonest man. He quoted me a price on the phone for gel removal, and when I came in, increased it by $5. He denied the price given over the phone. This is after I confirmed the price twice over the phone with him. The same man and his employees will talk about you behind your back, in their language. He is in tune to what you will tell the employee and when you will request something, he will jump in and yell across the room at the employee and instruct them on what to do, all in their own language. Very disrespectful.
I wonder how anyone can give this place a positive review. You'd have to be living in a cave to do that, and in this day and age, with all the nail salons around, I can't fathom why anyone would keep coming here. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere where you will be treated like a...
Read moreI went back and forth on whether to describe my experience as I tend to save my Google reviews for positive words, but I endured such a heartbreaking experience, I thought I’d share in case someone is planning a similar outing for their child(ren).
I took my son (2.5 years old) to this salon yesterday to get a kids’ mani/pedi. He was accompanied by his cousin, my niece, who’s only a few months older. The staff immediately escorted my young niece to a pedicure chair, sat her up with pillows and went right to work - mani/pedi with pink polish.
My young son was completely ignored. He stood in the middle of the salon as we waited for him to be escorted to the chairs in the same manner. Nobody paid any attention to him. I eventually sat him in my lap. Still nothing. He understandably wanted to sit in the pedicure chairs next to his cousin. So he did. Still nothing. Eventually they filled the tub with water and - after some prodding - half heartedly buffed his nails.
While this was a lovely experience for my sister and her daughter, it was a devastating experience for my son and me. A day later, he is still asking to have his “hands done and toes painted.” It breaks my heart he wasn’t seen or acknowledged - and I caution anyone who’s planning a similar outing to...
Read moreI don’t think this is the place where I would like to return, before visiting this salon, I checked Google - where it was written that the salon was open, then I called so as not to waste my time to find out if they could give me a manicure, the salon worker said that I can come now, upon arrival at the salon there was only 1 master who was busy, I asked why you said that you could serve me if there was no master anymore, to which the employee answered me that their master could be stuck in a traffic jam or be where something on the way and he does not know what time they will arrive, what kind of chaos? The salon hours were recorded from nine 30, I arrived at 10, with a preliminary call, not only was they not even telling me how long to wait, although I waited about 20 minutes, as they told me that the master should be soon, perhaps he will be delayed on the road, after 20 minutes, I clarified again, in response I heard rudeness and rudeness, that supposedly they had just opened at all, I should come later. I value my time, and I also chose the salon, since they were the ones that were open from 9:30, and I also called in advance to make sure that they would serve me, but it turned out that I was a client who came to do the service, left...
