Gelato-go Sunny isles — Restaurant in North Miami Beach

The gelato here tastes good, but unfortunately the service isn't as great. I went with my husband on 08/20/19 at around 8:30 pm and we each ordered gelato. After paying for the gelato, my husband was trying to accommodate the change he was given into his wallet and his gelato fell on the floor. As soon as this happened the lady working picked up the gelato and I helped clean up the mess. As I threw away the napkin in the trash and apologized she looked at us and asked, "Another one"? So my husband replied yes. She then charged him for a whole new gelato. I have never written a review before, but this heavily upset me. When we first got there she asked if we wanted to try anything and we replied, "No thank you, we've been here." I understand it was our mistake it fell on the floor, but charging us for this doesn't show good customer service. Especially after letting her know we're customers that go...

Hands down to my favorite gelato store in the area! Can't even put in words those gelatos... They made it at the store and they always have new and different flavors... Crazy Nuts, Coco Pazzo... But gotta say that Brigadeiro is my favorite of all times. And the cappuccino in a Nutella cup? It's simply heaven! Customer service on point, you feel always welcome there, they even know my favorites! And they have this cute little spot for kids to play (they call it kids area), I love that! We stopped in tonight because our kids were looking for ice cream and we are glad we did. The staff is extremely friendly and offered us samples of any flavor we were interested in. The prices were reasonable for high end ice cream. Most importantly, however, the flavors of everything we had were spectacular. The Sabayon in particular was something special that you can't get anywhere else. If you're in the area I'd recommend stopping in and giving it a try.
