Popped into Off Site with my partner on a whim today and it was well worth the stop! Very cute and clean inside, delicious beer (try the Easy Peasy Lager - it’s a day drinking delight that lives up to its name), and incredibly well done bar food.
I had a crispy chicken sandwich that was honestly divine - steaming hot and dressed simply with a zesty ranch, shredded lettuce, and a couple sliced pickles on a sesame seed bun. My boyfriend had a grilled cheese made with Tillamook cheese on Japanese milk bread from a local bakery that he said was much more than the sum of its parts (it looked it), and we shared an order of fries that I’m so impassioned about I’m going to give them their own paragraph.
These are the platonic ideal of French fries - like when you wake up on a random Saturday craving a pile of fries, this is where you should go to find them. They have an exterior so perfectly crispy that it shatters when you bite into it only to give way to a soft, pillowy, mashed potato-esque center. Perfectly salted, and that’s coming from someone with a lot of opinions on how much salt is too much salt. I’m normally very happy to share my food, but these fries had me glaring at my man when he snagged the one I had my eye on for my next bite. Multiple times....
Read moreOff Site is hands-down one of the best dining experiences I've had in Miami! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with incredible energy and hospitality. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between laid-back and elevated – it's the kind of place that instantly feels like a local favorite, and for good reason.
Huge shoutout to Vanessa, Tyrese, Lelo, and Jeff – they each went above and beyond to make our visit unforgettable. Vanessa was so very helpful and great with customer service. Tyrese was incredible, knowledgeable, quick, and so fun to chat with.
The food and drinks were incredible (seriously, don't skip the specials!), and the whole vibe was cool without trying too hard – the kind of spot you'll find yourself coming back to again and again.
If you're in Miami and looking for a unique, welcoming, and seriously delicious place to eat and drink, Off Site should be at the top of your list. Thank you to the amazing team – Vanessa, Tyrese, Lelo, and Jeff – for making our...
Read moreIt has been a couple of years since I’ve been to offsite. It is a small nano brewery and a little Haiti district. They have an elevated bar bites menu, which is what I typically come for. You order at the counter and take a seat and they will bring your food out to you. There are Tables, bar seats, stools along the window and a couple of picnic tables outside on the sidewalk to choose from.
I ordered the smoked chicken croquettas and the Better Burger. Since the last time I have come, they have switched the burger recipe. They use a new blend (chuck, brisket, short rib). They also used to Koji-cure the burger, however, I’m not entirely sure they do that anymore, since it is not mentioned on the menu description anymore. The Koji added a very nice umami flavor.
The burger is a 7 ounce, grilled, served on a seeded bun. It was still an excellent burger. The croquettas were also delicious and served with a...
