Went here for the 1st time on Saturday March 15th 2025 with my mom to look for decorations, and pictures for our new home. This is actually my first time at a Hobby Lobby- and it is a very cute store, and has lots of pictures, art supplies, arts and crafts items, and indoor and outdoor decor. This one even sells yarn and fabric! Anyways, i liked some of their selection of outdoor furniture- as there was lots of yellow and sunflowers. Even saw a nice sunflower pillow, that was far up upon the shelf- and unfortunately, no associates in sight to help us. Oh well lol. We continued looking around the aisles, and found a nice flower welcome mat for outdoor use. We also browsed the kitchen aisle and came across a bowl set that was on sale. We needed some serving bowls here, so that was handy. We then looked at the photos, and nothing really was of interest. They had lots of cows, Religious pictures, but nothing bright and yellow, or of colors like blue or green. After looking around, my mom went to the restroom, and when she came out, she spotted something that was Navy Blue, a decor that matched! Although with some of the lighting, it looks black! HM, Anyways, while my mom was in the restroom, my aunt returned some items that she didn't want, and it seemed like an easy process. Then, after looking at the color, my mom checked out and paid for the navy blue decor, the mat, and the serving bowl set. Cashier was pleasant throughout the transaction. We paid via a credit card. Maybe we'd be back to check...
Read moreI love Hobby Lobby and I am a frequent shopper. I will be getting one closer to my house soon (thanks goodness) but for now I drive close to an hour for this one. I love hobby lobby products and prices so much. I also typically enjoy the staff as they are usually pleasant, however today we had a cashier that seemed unusually grumpy, never smiled the whole time. We all have bad days but it would have been nice for a better interaction, as the lines are usually very long at this store and you can wait a full 20 min to be able to check out at times. I also love supporting a religious business.
My one main complaint. I've been to this location many times and today for the first time they asked me if id like to purchase a bag. Umm what? I've never had a business in the state of SC not just give me bags. This hobby lobby has always given me bags for my items before so Im assuming it's a new thing. Please change it. I'd rather you up the price of everything in your store by 1 cent then ask me to pay for a bag at the end.
I refused to pay for the bag (out of principle) and pushed all my items out to my car with the carriage, Im just glad it wasn't raining or they'd all be soaked.
Please change this rule. Its not likely to go...
Read moreThis is one of my favorite shops because there are so many fun things you can do as a family. The photos are some of the things I have created along with my kiddo!
The possibilities are endless, prices are reasonable, staff are friendly and everything is easy to find.
Boredom is lack of creation and lack of creation is where the troubles start. My kiddo spends hours creating with his toys and crafting and is thriving! Take your kiddos and let their imaginations run wild. Have them make art and even learn business finance skills selling what they make.
This place is there for you to find the supplies and tools to run your own fun homeschool without boring workbooks. The science is in and the world needs knowledge that is at a high level of application not memorization. The times have changed and we gotta level up we do.
I love that I can come here and turn it into learning and find anything to make learning curriculum fun!
If you need help with this reach out to me, I have over 20 years of professional experience and the internet is saturated with fantastic ideas.
Thank you Hobby Lobby for staying in...
