I typically dont write reviews unless needed to be . Iv been to this location multiple times. When they first open , a couple months after & today. Each time iv had an issue with at least something. In the beginning i brushed it off knowing they were knew & needed to work out some kinks . but everytime i just get more disappointed. The last time before today when i went i was treated horribly by a young girl when i asked for Wintermelon MILK tea .Instead of writing a review i decided to talk to the owner , she was nice but very off putting, basically vented to me about issues & was sending my message i sent to her in their work groupchat asking what happen, which i hope didnt have my name because you just dont do that. Just kind of telling me things that were private that should be between a work place and not a customer . I have a couple issues with this establishment. 1. How there is a bunch of kids who are rude / dont greet you properly which i see in other reviews they experience the same thing as i did. 2. They dont sell what is advertised which iv asked about . the Thai chili chicken to be exact, if you look at the picture online it had a marinated boiled egg, instead you get a fried egg. When i asked about it the response was “ trying to appeal to the americans” In my head im like thats disrespectful because why serve asian food if you are going to tweak it to make it more american. i just dont get it . 3. Food is ehhh the new noodle salad bowl was terrible . I ordered pork and got chicken. chicken was dry and hard as a rock. 4, My milk tea is ALWAYS watered down. Typically boba shops shake the drink in the ice and pour it in a cup with no ice with a sealed lid. Iv given the shop so many chances as i had high hopes but i dont think the problems will change . I hope nothing but the best but its a no for me . Only good thing is its very cute in there . I really hope they make it...

The coffee experience was quite horrible. We ordered espressos and were served in huge to go cups. If you have espressos on the menu, you have espresso cups. Huge vessel for a small coffee, it was immediately cold, and it took almost 10 minutes to get it, with no one else in the store. If you appreciate good coffee, keep driving.

I appreciate your response and did not realize this was a soft opening. I'm sure the speed of service will improve with practice.

However, the espressos were only ordered by me and my family because they were clearly stated on the menu - the very first line actually (so not a special order as far as I'm concerned). I'd recommend having the employees mention it's not really offered as a standalone drink or marked appropriately on the menu itself.

Also, what we were served is not really a full espresso (not even the double), so I would recommend just not offering it at all. We have espressos everywhere we visit and have had them in many countries. These were not espressos.

Last bit of update: It really was our fault for not reading the reviews before we walked in. Everyone seems to love the teas and it clearly is what they specialize in. It's just not a...

Just a weird experience. Me and my partner enter the shop, he goes into the bathroom while I wait there and look and the menu. There were 2 workers at the register, a young man and woman. My partner asks me what I want and I reply “i don't know yet.” When I said that, I notice the young guy shook his head like it was a problem. Why is it a problem me being indecisive if there was no one else in line?? My partner and I are still deciding what we want (which didn't even take us 5 mins, and I tell you there was NO ONE ELSE in line waiting) tell me why the 2 at the register exchange each other weird looks?? Is it that much of a problem that someone doesn't know what they want immediately?? If these 2 miserable cashiers read this, I must say you need to quit your job if you have a problem with people DECIDING what they want! Seriously, grow up. P.S. I got the black strawberry brown sugar milk tea and it was terrible! It was very bitter, and didn't even have a strawberry taste at all. Didn't look anything like the picture I chose it from so that's false advertising. I'll probably be finding a new boba shop to go to when I visit the beach. It didn't use to...

A Hidden Gem for Sushi Lovers! I can’t say enough great things about Cha House x Shibuya Sushi and Hibachi! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warm smiles and outstanding hospitality. The atmosphere was calm and inviting—perfect for a relaxing dining experience. The sushi was nothing short of exceptional. Every piece was incredibly fresh, expertly prepared, and absolutely delicious. You could truly taste the quality in every bite. The menu offers an impressive variety, ensuring there’s something for everyone, from classic rolls to more unique creations. And plenty to choose from beyond sushi. Beyond sushi, the restaurant excels in other areas as well. The ramen was rich, flavorful, and deeply satisfying, with perfectly cooked noodles and a broth that was packed with umami. And the bubble tea? Absolutely fantastic! The flavors were well-balanced, and the tapioca pearls had the perfect chewy texture. With such an extensive menu, a cozy atmosphere, and a staff that makes you feel right at home, this place is a must-visit for any sushi or ramen lover. I can’t wait to return and try more!

I absolutely loved this place!!! Every bit about it!!! The food and drinks were delicious and I LOVE the new look! I was totally blown away when I walked in and seen the big change! The boba is always delicious but very surprised (and happy!) to see they now offer SUSHI & RAMEN! What a gem! The fish in the sushi is so fresh and every bite was delightful! I really liked the garlic ponzu they offer! Chefs kiss!!! 🖤 the ramen was also do delicious!! The noodles and egg were cooked PERFECTLY and the broth was so warming and flavorful! I’m honestly just so happy to have a (good) ramen spot in North Myrtle now!! The service was great and the girls who served me were very sweet and attentive!!! The inside is so beautiful and I love the new pictures of the Japanese streets and the pretty cherry blossom tree! Will definitely be coming back with friends! Would totally be cute a little date night too! Please try this place out!

My boyfriend and I have always loved coming to Cha House whenever we’re in the area, but this last visit was really disappointing. We both ordered the Dirty Tiger, and honestly, it just tasted like plain white milk with boba. There was barely any flavor (kinda like diluted leftover cereal milk) , just a little drizzle around the cup, and that was it. It was made so quickly that I couldn’t help but feel like corners were cut. We each drank maybe a quarter of it before throwing them out while walking around the plaza—it just wasn’t worth finishing. Spending over $13 for two big cups of what felt like milk with some boba at the bottom was really frustrating. Not sure if the recipe has changed along with the new menu and interior updates, but it’s definitely not the same Cha House we used to love. Really sad to say we wouldn’t come back for this anymore.
