I am just so extremely pleased with our experience at the Jared Vault in Myrtle Beach. My wife and I had been to several other jewelry stores that day, in search of a replacement for her stolen engagement ring, before finally making our way there.
When we arrived, we were met by smiling and friendly faces. After explaining why we were there and what we were looking for, we were led to a couple of chairs and were shown three rings that closely matched our description. At the other stores, we had spent quite a bit of time being walked around and shown so many rings that weren't even close to what we wanted. But at Jared, they listened intently and skillfully picked out a few rings they felt matched our description. They were all beautiful and very close in style to the lost ring. Within 10 minutes of arriving at the store, we had the perfect ring in hand. With no pressure and no gimmicks, I was able to purchase a replacement ring for my wife. One that she is extremely happy with. The one thing that stood out the most to me about our experience was the compassion the jewelers had for my wife. As I understand, losing something so personal as an engagement ring can be a very stressful and emotional thing. For my wife, who is dealing with MS and a social anxiety disorder, losing and trying to replace it was just that much more difficult. The staff was very understanding, helpful and gracious. Our experience at Jared was nothing short of perfect. Thank you! And a special...
Read moreIt has been a long time since I went into a jewelry store and had a good experience. I have been looking for a diamond replacement for the past couple of months since I lost my diamond due to my own negligence. Every sales rep just wanted to make a sale or looked at me thinking I was not going to purchase anything. However, while on vacation shopping, (with my husband and 2 younger sons 10&3 I might add) I walked into a Jareed and I am glad I did. Hannah O walked over and greeted me with a big smile and hello. I initially thought I would just look for a chain for my pendant, however she advice me that it was best to have the diamond pendant with me. Because she just didn't just try and get a sale but helped me make an informed decision I begin to ask about a diamond for my ring. She provided so much information and was helpful that I was determine that I was going to ensure she received the sale. I ordered a diamond, and Hannah arranged to have the diamond shipped to a store close to my home. She created my profile, my reminders for cleanings and I was all set. If you are in the Myrtle Beach area looking for a knowledgeable Jewler with great customer service go to Jared at the Tanger Myrtle Beach 17 or send him and ask for Hannah.
I just hope and pray the Jared in my home town provides the same service when it's time for me to pick up my diamond and...
Read moreMy husband bought me a beautiful set of "Pink Pearls" bracelet and earrings for Christmas. I had difficulty fastening the bracelet. I went to the shop and had the staff demostrate "how" to fasten the braclet to ensure I was applying enough pressure. I didn't want to break it. She had a LOT of trouble with it as well. She offered to trade or return the item, if I would like. Because I really loved them I chose to take them home and practice. Well after several weeks and they just would not stay fastened I chose to return them, with the option in mind to maybe have another latch put on them. The saleperson that worked with my husband and myself as I was returning them (and asking about another clasp) seemed not interested in helping "solve" the clasp problem. She said maybe we could put a lobster claw hook on them. Offered no other options and definitely letting me know it would cost more money, didn't explain what a lobster claw hook was, I had to ask her to show me. She just seemed more interested in me returning the bracelet. She did say they my set was a favorite of the staff's that came in during Christmas. I just was wondering does the staff get a discount on returned items? It made me feel that way. She was more interested in me returning the item than helping me with my broken clasp. I left broken hearted. I did however keep...
