All of a sudden my phone would not accept the android pattern I set. I started getting locked out at intervals of 5, 10, 15+ minutes after attempts to open my phone with the pattern, although I still had access via fingerprint.
After calling samsung, they told me I'd need to factory reset my phone. Well in order to do that I had to enter the pattern, thus locking me out for 30 minutes. Verizon couldn't do anything over the phone and neither could Samsung. I couldn't get ahold of anyone working at a Verizon store to confirm they'd be able to fix my phone.
I went into a store in middleburg heights where the manager there made my situation worse and she told me she was unable to help me further, locking my phone for 60 minutes.
So I traveled home and called Verizon customer service once again to ask about corporate stores. I asked about best buy helping me since I got my phone there. I was told best buy could absolutely not help and the corporate store would for sure help me.
So I go to the corporate store. I had to explain this situation twice. The manager, I believe his name is eric, told me to stop being "rude" on a few occasions. I was never rude. I simply explained what was going on in a direct way. Clearly I'm annoyed after all I have been through. Do not confuse annoyance with rudeness. I have been patient. I have been kind. I have been understanding.
I stood in the store and cried while they made me do the pattern again thus locking me out for TWO HOURS. The manager was entirely unhelpful and would also iterate that "we didn't do this to your phone!" Well I know you didn't and neither did I!
I left again with my phone bricked. I took a chance on best buy and they fixed my phone in 5 minutes.
I am EXTREMELY disappointed in Verizon and Samsung for not doing the most they could do to help me. The manager at this location should have known what to do. It seems it was a choice of his to send me away without help because I was so "rude" for being annoyed with the company I pay monthly for doing the opposite of helping me and only making my situation worse, leaving me with no options.
We've been customers with Verizon for over 20 years. I don't understand why I wasn't helped to the fullest extent and I was sent away with a phone that was locked for 2 hours. I don't understand why best buy fixed my phone in 5 minutes yet...
Read moreTERRIBLE.There were 6 or 7 associates there when we got there. We needed phones before we traveled because mine had died and wasn't working at all. Instead of getting us new phones, the associate that "took care of us" said they were feeling sick, dizzy, and nauseous then sat very close to me.The associate only wanted to sell us the internet. The associates were talking inappropriately& disrespectful. The associate gave us their number, then refused to answer all of our questions. They would disappear for 15 minutes at a time, make us sign lengthy paperwork (only regarding the internet). The associate never ordered our phones. They were totally incompetent. We should have never went to this store. 4 people were in the store when we tried to check on our phones Tuesday before we left, and they were again rude and disrespectful, more concerned talking about one of them moving to a different state, than with our questions. We found out then that our associate NEVER ordered our phones. We traveled to my small (blip on the map) hometown in PA and they got us hooked up in about an hour with no problem, uploaded everything, and fixed everything except cancelling this useless internet program. I would suggest you find a true Verizon store owned run by people who are professional and not wearing polos, and sweatpants. The associate in my hometown said those stores are not held to the highest of standards, as Verizon expects. This store and its associates should be ashamed of themselves. There getting a 1 because that is the lowest score they can be given. I would suggest going to a different Verizon store that is NOT this one. The headache this store caused us should be rectified before another person comes in there with a phone emergency and leaves with a useless...

Time is the most valuable thing and they know how to waste it and try to waste your money. Seriously horrible scam artist!
Always always call Verizon’s customer service directly to make any changes. They changed our plan and then also didn’t look into details that we had a credit on 3 lines for a trade in device that we were going to lose with the new plan they put us on. Today is sept 13th and thankfully we got an update from Verizon via email and I called and got the 3 lines changed back to original plan. Do everything through customer service phone line to Verizon. If you need a new phone they can ship it to you, it’s worth the wait. The actual Verizon customer...
