
Where do I start? I had booked an appointment 3 weeks before my wedding for my hair to be styled and make up to be done. When I arrived I was told I did not make an appointment for my make up (which I did) however my hair stylist was very quick into trying to fix this issue. She assured me she got ahold of the makeup artist and that she would be in at 10 which was fine because my hair appointment was for 9. I had my hair done which was nothing that I wanted. I looked like I had a mini beehive on the top of my head and the stylist teased my hair so much on the sides it looked like birds nests on each of my shoulders. I gave it a chance because I thought that once my makeup was done, it would all come together. The "makeup" girl finally arrived around 10:30 and sat me in the chair. As soon as I sat down she told me I needed to go somewhere else for makeup, that she couldn't do it. I was completely devastated. After waiting forever for her to show, I am told she will not do it. At this point I needed to head home to try and fix whatever this hairdo was and figure out my makeup within an hour of getting married. I must note that the only ones who had any compassion for this situation was the 2 interns and the one hair stylist Evan. On the way back home, I received a call from the owner who was only wanting to offer a massage. No thank you. I had asked for a refund however since I paid cash for my hair, I guess she was not able to offer this. She did not offer me to come back later for the refund, or offer to send a check in the mail, nothing. She offered a credit for when I come back I can get my hair done for free. Again, no thank you. This experience was enough for me to not be interested. She did offer me to turn around and come back to the salon for them to fix this but I had ran out of time waiting around. Oh and the kicker! The make up artist isn't a make up artist. She is the nail tech and they were going to have her do my wedding make up and never told me that. I would not have waited around for someone who knows nothing about doing makeup. And when I was offered to come back for this to be fixed, who was going to fix this? No one does make up at all there. Why would I pay someone to do a service that they aren't qualified to do?? Thankfully my sisters came to the rescue and fixed my hair and did my make up and I did not let this...
Read moreI received THE absolute, most horrible service from D’Vina’s salon!! I don’t know HOW they stay in business. I phoned twice, to find out if they had a stylist that could roll a piggyback spiral. I was assured by the boy at the desk, the owner’s son, that someone could do it, because they’d been doing this for eighteen years. I booked the appointment in person, and again, two more times, told the kid that I wanted a piggyback spiral perm. What a joke 😡. They were clueless! On day of appt., I showed the stylist a picture of what I wanted and expected, and reminded her that I wanted a piggyback spiral perm. She paid absolutely no attention to me. When the rods were removed, I asked where the curls were. She said she gave me a beach wave perm. What the hell??? The owner told me she would fix it. HA! I went back a few weeks later, and had same terrible stylist (I used the term “stylist “ loosely). My hair was fried, and still not expected outcome. When I gave poor review on their website, the owner replied that THEY were disappointed. REALLY??? How do you think I FEEL??? I just blew $257 , and eight hours of my life, for a horrible, hair style that fell out before the 48 hour no wash period!! The owner suggested that I email Her, to resolve the issue. I had my hair redone on Nov 20 , 2021. I emailed her on Dec 13, 2021. It is now Jan 13, 2022, and she hasn’t responded to my email. This is how people do business?? I was never offered a refund, or even an apology!! 😡😡😡The owner had mentioned that my piggyback spiral was never specified in her notes 🙄. That’s not my fault, the boy was told numerous times, she’s just trying to protect her kid, and call the customer wrong.
It was also quite dirty. I had first appt of the morning, and there was still cut hair all over floor from previous day(s).

Read more...It seems D'Vina's has a new color guru!! Danny is her name and I am so very happy to say, she is also my new hair stylist. I just love hard and all the stylist at the salon. I first made an appt w D'Vina's because getting an appt w the salon I was using was getting longer and longer. I wanted to get my hair colored and needed someone who was willing to take on the extra time it usually takes (I have a tone of hair) and I'm extremely picky (with in reason) and have no problem letting someone know if I'm not happy (but I try to be nice it about). The pricing was fair, and they made sure I got in... next day for my appt 👍🏼 (big p,us in my book). Like I said...it takes a long to e to do my hair, so it was running close to closing time. EVERY single girl working were top rate with politeness, respect and over curious to my every need and concern. They all pitched in with turns on blow drying, rinsing, etc... Until I was done. I couldn't believe the team work and the who,e time with a smile on their faces and fun to be around. D'Vina had suggested a new purple from their new line of colors that had recently come in (yes, I like the crazy and fun colors 🌈). I love keeping an open mind about new possibilities. Unfortunately tho, this was not the color for me or my hair. I have to say... I was very concerned that this would be a fight to get my hair done right and its not cheap áto color my hair. But, with no hesitation, but the utmost respect for concern, I ûwas told to come back at my convenient for a re- color at no charge! My second visit was just as awesome as the first. Actually, a little better. They made me feel like family and we had another four hours of talking & coloring. Danny did the BEST color I've ever had to date! The color is vibrant and super shinny! I love it I love it I love it ❤❤❤❤❤!
