I really hope the owners for this popeyes location in North Port is pleased with how there restaurant/franchise is being operated.
I ordered several times per week at this popeyes and it has been the worst experience a paying customer could get . One of my experiences ordering the bucket of chicken meal I received the driest chicken one could ever bite into. This was around evening hours . It tasted as if this chicken was siting there for hours being dried out . I REALLY HOPE THE OWNERS ARE PLEASED WITH THIS !
I had another experience from this popeyes in North Port waiting in drive- Thru no cars infront of me or behind me , didn't see but 2 or three cars in parking lot and when I said " hello " on the speaker someone replied " Give them a few minutes " Who waits a few minutes in a drive- thru with no one else there to give my order? Is this the great customer service a customer should get ?
Then yesterday, Sunday, September 1 , around 1- 2 pm I went to order a bucket meal for my family and I. I pulled up to the speaker that has a paper on it that states " Say hello to give order " something of that sort , I stood there for a while saying hello , until I pulled up to the window to ask if the speaker was broken , that's when this white , pale looking heavy set girl glared at me and said " Yes " with an attitude. She didn't follow through with any customer apology or explanation, no courtesy or any protocols. So I proceeded to give my order . I told her my specific order , which is one of the family meals , she looked at me for a few seconds as if I was annoying her , then snapped and replied , " WE'RE NOT TAKING ANY BIG ORDERS WE DON'T HAVE THE BOXES !" I had no idea they were having issues with speaker and didn't have boxes , I understand but I'm just pulling up to order and had no idea. She eventually turned her back to me at the drive thru window and proceeded to talk to an African American male telling him " YOU take this one ". He came over very calm , professional and courteous. I was so appalled at so many of these other workers there that act like there doing customers a favor and just flat out rude and disgusting. I don't know where they pick these workers from but most of the woman there have no professionalism and they're very comfortable with this behavior. Whenever a staff is so comfortable with such an awful customer service the manager and business owner are the one that's encouraging this type of rotten behavior. YOU HAVE SOME OF THE NASTIEST AND ANGRY WOMAN WORKING HERE WITH NO PROFESSIONALISM WHATSOEVER!
I DROVE OVER TO KFC , GOT MY FOOD AND ALL WAS WELL !
I'VE PUT UP WITH THIS BEHAVIOR TOO LONG NOW . HAS LONG AS I LIVE IN NORTH PORT I WILL NOT EVEN LOOK OVER TO THIS BUILDING. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH NOW !
MANAGEMENT AND FRANCHISE OWNERS YOU ALL SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF FOR ALLOWING THIS NASTY BEHAVIOR....
Read moreWhen I pulled up to the drive-thru, I was warmly welcomed with the friendly phrase, “You can order.” Not a “Hello,” not a “Welcome to Popeyes,” not even an “Ayyyyy, what’s up!” Nope—just “You can order,” delivered with the enthusiasm of a DMV clerk on a rainy Monday. But okay, I’m here for chicken, not a pep talk, so I follow instructions and start ordering.
Three times.
See, I quickly realized that the woman taking my order had activated the ultra-rare drive-thru superpower of "Selective Listening.” As I placed my order, it seemed she was also possibly juggling other tasks—perhaps cooking, answering emails, or pondering the mysteries of life—so I kept getting back this vacant silence. But hey, maybe they were short-staffed, so I kept calm and carried on.
After placing my order, I rolled up to the window and was greeted with yet another burst of enthusiasm from the window guy, who looked me straight in the eyes and said, “Twenty-five.” That’s it. No “Hello,” no “That’ll be $25,” no polite inquiry about sauces or napkins. Just the number “Twenty-five” delivered like a ransom demand. I handed over my card, which he returned silently, along with my receipt. So far, my total word count with this Popeyes crew was running a strong “eight.”
And then came the drinks. First, I was handed one soda in complete silence, like a weird little peace offering. Then he left the window, returned a moment later to check his phone (you know, real urgent business here), finally filled up the second soda, and handed it to me. This drink-saga stretched out in silence long enough for me to question my own life choices.
Then, at last, the food arrived. I grabbed the bag and drove off, feeling like maybe I’d just taken part in some strange minimalist performance art.
But oh, the plot thickens. At home, I discovered that:
We were missing one side.
Another side was totally wrong.
The sodas tasted like lukewarm bathwater that had given up on life.
Oh, and the price? Yeah, that one word—“Twenty-five”—rang truer than ever. It turns out I had just paid top dollar for half an order, two existentially flat sodas, and the unique experience of feeling like I was inconveniencing the staff by wanting food in exchange for my money. I tried to call and explain my tragic saga, but the phone rang until it realized it, too, wanted no part in this nonsense and gave up.
In conclusion, if you’re looking for an awkwardly silent, weirdly existential experience with a side of missing sides, this is the drive-thru for you. At least the food we did eat was good....
Read moreThis place opened up and it was like a zoo. I don’t care how “good” the food is I’m not waiting for any amount of time over 5-7 minutes. It’s long enough and if it’s longer I expect a reasonable discount or my money back. I have experienced good and bad service, but the lack of professionalism AND bad service from this restaurant is unacceptable to say the least. The manager, Brian, is extremely rude to customers and he does not care how he talks to people. I have a business degree and I know how important it is to treat customers with respect and loyalty. Those customers are what keeps the business financially stable. When you treat customers in a manner less than what a business is expected to treat customers, then its time that corporate steps in and makes the necessary changes to make sure customers are treated with respect and the dignity they deserve. They are the individuals that create a paycheck for all employees. The unprofessionalism, not only from Brian, but most employees at this location is unacceptable and if I were in charge I would dismiss these employees and revamp this place. Not only do these types of employees create a bad image; it leaves a rather unpleasant experience that will make this business lose customers. One night I even went through and there was a “worker” wearing a backwards cap on signing rap music out loud while there were customers waiting to order food. He was paying no attention to their needs as a customer. Completely unacceptable behavior and I would have fired my employee on the spot for this behavior. I don’t usually write bad reviews, but after my experience tonight (the last time I will ever do business here) I think this review is more than warranted. The owners of this business need to know how rude their employees are, whether it is independently owned or a chain. I will take my business elsewhere until I see a positive change and new employees who create a better image for this place. 0/5 stars for...
