I called Conrad’s for an appointment for a suspension inspection. The gentleman who answered went over the free inspection which he said that would be just a listening and looking inspection, he said that the $139 inspection was where they would take things apart and see exactly what’s wrong. I said I want that one and that it’s making noise underneath, something’s off with my suspension. He said that the first available was Friday at 10am. I dropped my car off on Friday at 9 am for a 10 am appointment. When I dropped it off they asked was I hearing a noise or something, I told him I just a lot of cracking and knocking. I left car yesterday at 9am. I just talk to the most rude and disrespectful man he yelled at me and told me that it wasn’t his fault and he was trying to help me and hung up on me. I asked to speak with a regional or area manager and he said he would take my number and give it to him on Monday. Wheni called back, he asked again why was I upset and I told him that I dropped my car off for a paid inspection and you told me the results were that it was just tires and maintenance and windshield wipers. Like how? I know for facts I need brakes. So basically yall took my car said you would inspect it and didn’t and pretty tried to get me to buy tires and maintenance things done. Is this what your doing to women now disrespecting them and then not doing the work and telling them anything to get them to buy services. I have been coming Conrad’s for along while but the manager and the front desk are terrible don’t trust them he has my car until Monday and I am scared he will make it worst. I am so mad you had my car all that time and didn’t do the correct inspection lied and when I asked you to tell me why no one did the full suspension inspection that cost $139 like I originally asked for. You get mad...
Read moreI went in for an oil change at a different company and was told that both of my brakes were at 30% use and needed to be changed immediately. I didn't have enough money at the time to get it done, (at least not what they were going to charge me) and so I went to Conrad's for a second opinion around late October. I don't know much about cars but I do know when I'm being tricked. So when I explained my situation to Al at the North Randall location, he inspected my brakes free of charge and told me that only the front set were at 30% but the back ones were fine. I told him I would be driving home to Boston for the holiday and wanted to make sure I'd be safe. He was very compassionate and told me to come back mid-December and he'd look at them again. When I brought the car in, I decided to just get the front brakes fixed instead of both the front and backs. Al remembered me and assured me I would be safe on my trip home. When I picked up my car, not only was it less expensive than their competitor but Al took the time to explain what was wrong with my brakes and what exactly they did to fix it. It was refreshing not to have unexpected or unnecessary charges! He wished me a safe trip home and happy holiday! I'm so glad I chose Conrads and got such quality customer service...
Read moreFound a good deal on new tires on the internet. Website said they were in stock and qualified for a discount, so I booked the appointment for the next day. When I got there they told me the discount was only for "in stock tires" and they had to order mine from their supplier and it was going to cost almost $100 more than the quote I got from the website. The website said I could have had them installed yesterday because they were already in stock. I talked to someone at a different location who told me they were closeout tires and there was only 1 of that size and model in stock in the entire company! So I guess the people at the store weren't lying to me but the company and their website gets a big ZERO from me. Why would a company run ads for a special discount offer on "in stock tires" that they don't have in stock... Can't blame it on the employees of this store but classic "BAIT AND SWITCH" by this tire company. I ended up getting way better tires for less than the original quoted sale price from this company at the local big box club. As far as their "buy one get one" sale. Check out the final price. How can the total price be higher when you get half off of 2 of the tires than the price when you pay full price for all 4? OH I KNOW, ...
