Had a bad experience the night of 7/26. Immediately as I walked through the door the employee said âum, weâre closingâ in a very condescending tone. I knew that. I was clearly in a rush, only there to get 2 things, no basket in hand. And I still had over 10 minutes. Less than 5 minutes later they announced that the store was closed (not true) and that the registers were about to close (also not how that works.) As I was waiting in line he announced that the registers were officially closed. Most of us were confused thinking we wouldnât be able to check out. Luckily, we were. As I was leaving they were blocking a man from entering, claiming they were closed. I checked my phone and it was still 10:58. He had every right to come in but they were physically blocking him. I work in retail so I understand that itâs frustrating when people come in last minute, but itâs a grocery store. People are still getting used to the hours changing and I know many of us try to rush in after work to get those few essential things. I work in a non essential shop and I still donât treat customers with this much disrespect when they come in close to close. Do...
Read moreUpdate After this experience I contacted the manager the next day. They allowed me to reorder my cold items and corrected the issue. The click-list employee that corrected the issue was very customer oriented and even gave me a kroger gift card for my troubles. Good turn around.
Usually don't have a problem at this store, but I ordered a pickup for 8-9 pm and waited nearly an hour. I called the store after about 20 mins of waiting and was hung up on. After I called back I was transfered to click-list and the employee said he had been behind all day due to short staffing. This despite receiving a notice that my ordered was ready for pickup. I have received notices of delays for pickup before this time, but that did not happen today. Surely a store like this would have ample employees to ensure they can keep up with customer demand? This Kroger has this guy working way harder than he needs to, and customers are left waiting ridiculous amounts of time for their pickup orders. On top of this, my cold items were warm once I...
Read moreIâve shopped here since 2016 and have always loved going there. Recently it has gone down hill. Kroger has always been my favorite. It recently bought out Albertsons and falsely advertises how fresh their produce is how they check for scarring. I went this evening and it was sad their produce is nasty and limited! They have gone up 67% since purchasing Albertsons. Our Sweet Hometown feeling Kroger gets the leftovers and are treated poorly they get the dregs if what ever is left from the bigger Kroger Stores! Kroger needs to step up and take care of their customers with better products! Kroger executives needs to consider the hardworking employees that know their customers and care so deeply for them. I am not giving the store staff one star I am giving them a million for what they do! I am giving Kroger executives-1 star for what they are doing to their customers! If it were not for your customers you would not be in business! If it were not for these hard working employees you would have no customers wake up...
