Two things that I look for at a place of business that sells food…rather…four things are as follows: aesthetics, food quality, and customer service. This place is exceptionally, insatiable, and exceeds EVERY aspect with INCREDIBLE tenacity!
Perspective: When I first walked in, the beauty and how intimate the dwelling in itself was was beyond anything I could have imagined in all of the donut shops my wife and I have ever been to! The store owner stepped out from the back with an infectious smile, almost stating, "What you're about to experience is exceedingly exceptional and pleasure to.your taste buds are guaranteed!" My wife ordered a glazed and chocolate donut and a jumbo kolache and a chocolate milk. I wanted to "test the waters a bit," so I ordered a cinnamon roll. As we concluded our business, we were met with that insatiable smile once more and quickly meandered to the car. Once we entered in, we attacked the cinnamon roll and kolache with such a ferociuosness that they were "inhaled" expeditiously. I wasn't satisfied... I wanted more! I immediately went back into the donut 🍩 shop, and after being met with that incredible smile, I acquired yet another cinnamon roll! We've already stated that this is our new donut place over all the others!
Final Thoughts:
The prices are a tab bit higher than a typical donut shop, but it's ENTIRELY worth it! Queen Bee has really, great quality products, and I recommend this place to anyone with a sweet tooth! I have my eyes set on...
Read moreI try to support my small local establishments. Any time I see a new pastry shop open, I try it to alleviate my fomo. I really wanted this establishment to meet even my lowest expectations, but it did not. The fruit kolaches are overpriced for what they are at $2.50 each. I could get similar results by spreading preserves on some store-bought bolio. I asked for two flavors of kolaches and one of the flavors was wrong. The lady working the counter was friendly and that's why I'm not giving this place one star. If the owner of the establishment is reading my review, please believe me when I tell you that you need to completely change your recipe and/or lower your prices if you want to still be open a...
Read moreTL;DR: Definitely will be back! really delicious kolache (or pigs in a blanket) that are quite economically priced. ($1.85 per regular size. More for jumbo ).
Been waiting for this place to open for the last several months as I saw their construction progress.
The jalapeno smoked sausage was really good. The dough is soft and pulls apart. It's not a hard solid shell like some places. The sausage actually has flavor rather than being a typical bland sausage.
They have jelly / cream filled kolache that looked pretty good, but i didn't pick any of those up.
I really hope the city comes out to support this nice little shop! I want...
