Card Center — Local services in North Richland Hills

The first couple of time I visited it was wonderful. Majority of the single cards are priced very well and a huge variety. But every time since, we’ve been met with a bit more attitude, prices on sealed products keep skyrocketing, and now that they’ve opened the “back part” of the shop where the high end cards will be I will warn future customers unless you’re paying cash, we were told he would only take “high value” cards for trades for what’s back there. We had hundreds of dollars worth of cards to trade, yet we were basically told that our binder full of cards valued at less than $50 each that we wanted to trade in were worthless. Lost our business because he thinks he’s too good to take 12-15 $20 cards for trade for a single high end card that will sit on the shelf overpriced like the rest of the “high end” stuff. At the end of the day all cards hold value. Not just the $50+ ones. I hope he learns he won’t earn new business this way. We won’t be going back.

Also, to add, flexing your super car in the majority of your tik toks is distasteful with how overpriced your sealed products are. Seems the bigger the shop gets the bigger your head gets based on your replies to a lot of these low reviews. I suggest a self evaluation...

First impressions today 😃 Super friendly staff and owner, chatted with Bryan very cool guy. This place is clean smells good and is well lit. Prices are great for singles and sure maybe a dollar or so over but id rather buy in person than wait on something to get shipped. Lots of affordable singles and some higher end stuff. Lots of etbs as well and some magic and one piece and that Disney card game I think 🤔. Tables are at a comfortable hight and binders aren't locked away or dirty and scuffed like some other card stores. Definitely the best card shop I've been to in the DFW. Opening early is also a huge selling point as I think they open the earliest in the area 😳. They got supplies like card sleeves and top loaders and even have some free empty etbs for storage! And in the area where they have singles they provide extra sleeves and top loaders just in case the one its in needs to be replaced, small things like that matter. I could go on and on about this place but I can't recommend this...

Went there today for the first time. Let me say the positive things. They have an amazing selection. From single cards to ETBs they have everything. Their single cards are a tad bit over market but honestly I can give them a pass on it. Now the negative thing, they claim to be at market vale for their sealed products but many of their sealed products are overvalued. For example they have single packs of Mega Evolutions going for $15. They have the Japanese Team Rocket packs going for $6. I understand the need to make a profit but honestly I can get the same products cheaper online through TCGPlayer or through various TikTok accounts. They are super nice people but I do hope to see them at market value for...
