I went to Remington in 2018 for Medical Billing and Coding. Was told that it was a very sought after position in the medical field and that there was so many opportunities and growth. Was also told that you can make very good money as well. What they neglect to tell you is you have to have years and years of experience along with an actual degree, in some cases, and all of the certifications that come with it. There was also so much drama going on in the classes just for that career study it was unreal. You would have thought we were in high school again. We were told after graduating we would be put into contact with the board that handles the exams for the certifications. I spent months going around in circles trying to get information was even told that the "check" to pay my fees was already sent in. Was told that someone from the exam would reach out to me to get me scheduled and go over all information before I went in. Nothing. Crickets. I called the main number to the cal center for the school and Noone could answer my questions. COVID then happened so the testing was put on hold. Tried again in 2021 once things had settled a little and still can't get straight answers about anything. Not to mention everyone that worked there when I went wasn't working there anymore so I didn't know who to speak to. You are going to do what you want, but I would rethink this school before you sink yourself into debt. Do your research, and make sure you know exactly who you are supposed to be speaking with and when about your entire education including any state exams before signing that...
Read moreVery unhappy with my experience since I have been here. Very unprofessional front office. Teachers are great and laid back. I feel the program is way over priced and eventhough they say your supplies are included in your tuition, I feel they do not go above and beyond for their students. In one occasion I was in the lab, long story short the vaccune tubes where blood is collected was expired. The internet is outrageously slow! Another of my complaints is that I came to this school with the impression that classes are on campus. Well I am currently still here and some courses were changed to online. I am very upset because it was asked of students if this would be good for them (me). Please do your research before...
Read moreI went in 2011 for dental assistant. I enjoyed the teachers and fellow students I had the pleasure of spending time with. I understand everyone has different experiences, and perspectives most importantly. If you feel like it’s their fault for not ensuring your career took off, that is why you’re not successful. They did their part and I did mine personally and have a thriving career because I spent 0 mental effort or any energy on blaming a group of teachers and faculty to make sure I got a career going after they did their part. If you blame this school or any, you have a victim mentality and need to look...
