We stopped here while passing thru town and it was by far the best stop we did our entire 3,000 mile road trip. So if that gives you any idea just how good it was! I read a lot of reviews and told the wife we have to stop. We were immediately greeted by a very friendly young lady and sat. She proceeded to get us waters, tell us the specials for the day and away we went. She had so much energy and excitement about her, it was tough not to be excited ourselves about the experience we were about to partake on. She came back with waters within just a few minutes. She was the only one waiting tables it looked like and they were pretty busy around lunch time. She explained how the flights of beers worked to me and got us going on some apps! They had an amazing beer list of some many great beers. My daughter ordered the kids cheeseburger and fries. She loved it.. I ordered the bacon flight as an appetizer. Oh my god was this amazing.... One dipped in Hershey's chocolate, one with melted cheese and jalepenos, one with cajun seasoning paired with blue cheese and the other was like a brown sugar and BBQ. All of them I highly recommend.... For our lunch my wife and I decided to share several suggestions from our amazing waitress. We had a Pork Belly taco with their delicious homemade Mac-n-Cheese, we also shared the Brisket sandwich with some of the best Brussels sprouts I ever tasted. All while drinking some great rare craft beers which I got to try in flights. This worked out perfect for me so I could sample several different styles of beer I had never had before being we are not from the area. A huge high five to this place for their amazing service start to finish, great food and drinks, a clean atmosphere, and reasonable prices. I really wish I could remember our servers name for doing such a great job and all while being very busy. She should be given a raise so she stays with this company. I believe this was Wednesday for lunch. She also suggested a few places to stop which we did. (Hershey's and Sarris) Thanks for a great stop from your new...
Read moreMar 2024 - Stopped in for lunch with a friend who's never been here. Menu is still small, but they are now fully staffed and the experience was better than our last.
Aug 2021 -- While they survived COVID, it's not been nice to them. We stopped in again with another couple, but had heard from others that there were many problems. We see what was happening == the problems are not the restaurant's fault: basically they cannot hire enough people. While we were there, we only saw three employees. One was taking care of the dining room and bar and two were in the kitchen: cooking and delivering the food. That's it. Three people for the whole place.
We ordered three burgers, a salad, and shared the bacon flight to see what has changed since our last visit. The food was good although the cooks were VERY HEAVY handed with their use of the salt shakers. The fries were almost on the verge of inedible, and the bacon strips were almost as bad. However, since everything came with sauces and other accompaniments, we could wipe off most of the salt and use ketchup and other stuff to make it tolerable.
The menu has shrunk down also. There are basically two pages, which is why we only got burgers.
What we got was well done and the beer selection complemented the food nicely. The one waiter was hustling and we saw the kitchen staff running their heads off as well so no complaints about the staff - they did the best they could. Their attitudes were good considering the situation they dealt with so I am not reducing my rating at all. But I will wait until they have more staff before coming back.
2018 - Really liked this place. Dishes are named and described amusingly. They come out as described with good flavors. We ordered two appetizers, four sandwiches and drinks. Waitress was a lot of fun and could dish it back in a fun way. We rolled out stuffed and happy. Each element of the name is very much apparent in the dishes and libations on the menu. Definitely worth...
Read moreI've been to B3 a few times in the past, and would typically give a 4 star rating. Today's visit has left me with a terrible taste in my mouth. To start, I walked in and was the second guest in the entirety of the building. I took a seat at the bar a few seats down from the other patron, who was engaged in conversation with what I assumed to be the bartender. After 3 minutes of constant conversation between the employee and the other patron, I was finally asked "what I want", to which I replied - "to see a food and drink menu". Fast forward a few minutes, and a young woman approaches me and asks if I know what I want to eat. I asked for a beer off their menu, nothing special, then ordered my sandwich with fries. After 5 additional minutes the floor manager asks me if I was drinking anything, I told him my order and he finally brought me my beer. So let me point out, it took 15 minutes to get a beer, as guest #2/2 in the place. I saw more servers standing about than actual guests. After 20 minutes my food came out with the wrong side, my beer glass had been empty for over 5 minutes, and when I finally received my second beer it looked like it had been hurriedly poured, with beer slipping all around the sticky sides of the glass. The only quick part of my service was when my server Andrea brought me my bill.
Update: I've given B3 a few more chances since my review. While still not 5 star worthy, the quality of their food really does shine, even when the service is lacking. One of the best draft lists outside of the city makes this one I'll keep a...
