I had a horrible experience here. I bought a swim suit and returned it and they gave me a receipt as merchandise credit⦠well the sweet girl who gave me the receipt didnāt write on it so when I came back many many months later to cash it in, the receipt was legible but very faded, luckily I had a picture because I didnāt know when Iād be back. The older woman was so very rude about the fact that there was no writing so I told her about the sweet girl who helped me and luckily she was there to vouch for the store credit. Well I finally found a sweatshirt to use my store credit forā¦. Bare with me⦠the sweatshirt was 34.99 with 20% off, my store credit was 27.80. She subtracted the 34.99 from 27.80= 7.19⦠she took the 20% off of the 7.19 instead of the 34.99 so my discount was only $1.44 instead of $6.98. So now that sheās giving me a discount or $1.44 off of 7.19 I ended up paying $6.15 with taxes and everything when I shouldāve paid less than a dollar⦠I know the difference is only like $5 but itās the principle of everything. Iām going to tell my friends and family to go to the other tourist...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm a plus size woman, I was fat shamed. Then showed a tiny place with plus size swim suits with no bottoms. Hey thanks for that! Cause the place that was nice to me had a 450.00 purchase from me and my family. Update: to the owner, it's the same one, I have pics. I was looking at a bathing suit and needed the lady to get a ladder to check a size, I asked to check for a 2xl..she didn't look, instead looked me up and down and said it didn't come in that size and behind me was the bigger girls size, I knew it came in 1xl, there was no need to laugh at me when I said the size I needed, not everyone is barbie size, your selection was 1 rack of suit, out of a whole store, 1 tiny rack. It's a shame, I will not back down from ignorance, and I will never visit again, I love my size, and it took me a while to love me for me. Having someone laugh at you cause your big, didn't she at least think I can have a medical condition? She could of been kinder. Instead I left embarrassed. I would of taken a apology but I see you skipped the fat shaming part. But...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy family and I came in to the store to look for souvenirs and we had two toddlers that wanted a ball. So I took the ball out of the package to give to them and was carrying the empty package around with me to continue shopping, prior to checkout. I asked a gentleman to show me where the footballs were and after he showed me, he kept starring at me. I asked if everything was okay and he accused me of stealing the ball. I was appaled and asked if I looked like the type to steal and he kept giving excuses and apologizing. Why would I ask him for help showing me where an item is, if I intended to steal something? As a colored male, I already felt out of place and this incident validated my concerns. I did not want to spend my money here, but decided to, in order to prove a point. Horrible experience overall and would advise people of color to be mindful...
