My family and I came to this store last year and there were lovely employees!! especially the manager kat (i remember her name from reading previous good reviews) I’m sure I rated this 5/5 last year. I went into this store about a week ago, the layout is beautiful as always you can actually walk thought the Isles without being bombarded by other shelf’s and tables like other stores, it’s open and has LOTS of light, the younger employees were beyond nice. except for this other lady and as I’m reading I’m seeing there’s other issues with said women. I’m not sure her name it’s not listed but definitely understood what other reviews are saying, I felt uncomfortable how she talked/treated to her employees or fellow workers. It may seem there’s a barrier between her coworkers, Either it’s communication or language or anything else, but it shouldn’t be shown in front of customers to be put on review. I definitely recommend the store. It’s an amazing store from the past. I’m not sure what’s may happened maybe it’s a change in the ownership but my family and I will be glad to visit hopefully sooner than later to topsoil and see a change NEXT SUMMER in our favorite store. Nice store but felt very rushed. My family of 3 went here to shop and there were only a few other people there, it was not busy by any means. An older woman told us if we could not find a shirt we liked that they could make us one with decals they have. That sounded perfect because their 2T selection was very limited so we found a shirt we liked and then she told us the other they could make would be half off due to a deal they were running. We went up to the front of the store to select a decal and she just did not listen and kept rushing us when we were trying to pick something. We decided on a sea turtle and she didn’t even give us the one we picked out. She then proceeded to pick the color of the shirt herself even though we had asked for pink and size 2 she gave us yellow. Whatever at this point. She gave the cashier the shirt and told her to ring us out. The deal she told us didn’t come up so the cashier did correct it. We were only given the shirt once we checked out and didn’t notice till we got back to the air bnb that it was bigger than we needed. Whatever my daughter can wear it in a year or so but the unprofessionalism and rushing us when no one was there was pretty irritating. Don’t offer to make people shirts then pick the decal and shirt color yourself and take no input from the paying customer. I probably won’t be back...

There's a sign that says to look over merchandise before you buy it and I should have. We went in because we always try to buy a little something at stores that are owned by individuals instead of corporate businesses. We went in on the lookout for T-shirts for our grandsons and I found two, the baby selection was a bit smaller than I expected but I still got one for each of our boys (9m & 6yr old) .Also I felt like the lady working there was hovering like I'd steal something which was disconcerting. There's nothing in a store worth my soul or freedom. I understand people do steal and it's hard to know who will and who won't so I tried not to take it to heart. Well as we were checking out I saw this beautiful navy T-shirt with an awesome design on it so I grabbed one for me and one for my husband. Got them back to the condo and part of the image was missing and other parts were already pealing. I was really disappointed. Haven't even popped the tag on mine but my husband wore his already.
