Roses Express — Local services in North Topsail Beach

Roses is a North Carolina based store with it's roots in Littleton. I didn't know this until I saw this small store while driving to a work destination and remembered there used to be a few of these in Wilmington so I had to check it out. Roses Express is "basically a smaller, condensed Roses" was the answer I received when I asked locals about it. I found a super nice and cute step stool for $3.99 regular price and while that was about it (despite a few things catching my eye at the same price point like the original 2020 Kelly Toy "Olaf" Squishmallow, some 'new', old stock He-Man figures from a few years ago and of course lots of staples like laundry care and school supplies. The reason for the 4 stars was the awesome staff- I was greeted by each person and even though I was one of the only visitors at the time, they still took the time to stay up front and engage in conversation, offer to help and even discuss other local events. I had a what I called an emergency at the last minute before our vacation to the Bahamas. My daughter’s bathing suit had a mishap. I called and explained the situation to the MOD Mandi and asked to pull a bathing suit for my husband to pick up (he is not fashion minded). I couldn’t go because our daughter is special needs and we didn’t have a nurse). She was so understanding and had two perfect ones waiting for him!
