I absolutely love this store! When I was younger I loved calico critters, rainbow loom, and so much more toys from this store and Newtown’s! Last year I got into collecting Squishmallows and Richboro has always had a good stock of them! It has gotten harder recently since a trend started to take place a couple months ago! But, the employees here have always been super helpful. I have heard things about them being “liars” which I have NEVER heard years back! I believe some people are simply just confused and frustrated since Squishmallow’s are extremely popular right now. I have always known to never think I know the facts! The people who work here know more about stock than anyone who walks in the store! Just like any other retail store, they get different shipments daily and sell out at random times. It is hard for a retail place to know exactly what they have or will be getting. I completely understand the struggle of customers not being open-minded. I have so many great things to say about this store! It is the go-to store for everything of all ages! You can shop by age and gender if you're not sure what to gift someone and the store is immaculate! I was just there today and bought a bunch of squishmallows because they were having a BOGO sale on holiday/aquatic/prehistoric. As I went to checkout.. I found out that the valentine's squishmallows were not part of the sale. (literally almost half of my order was valentine's) Karen, who was so kind and helpful, had the unfortunate task to break this news to me. As I was about to head back and completely reassess my basket, the wonderful woman next to Karen said she would honor my purchase!! I believe it was the owner who did this for me and I have to say.. I was shocked! No store I have ever been to would ever do this for a customer!! I already had high praises for this store.. then today happened and I had to write a review! I have come to this store several times to get squishmallows and most of the employees are very nice even when they seem a little stressed out by the demand for squishmallows. However after many negative experiences with one employee I have decided to no longer shop at this store. I will continue to go to the newtown store as they have the sweetest staff. However the woman who I believe is a manager or supervisor with short dark hair is very rude to anyone buying squishmallows. I was in the store today and a woman and the teen girl with her were buying two squishmallows and thus woman snapped at rhe woman 'did you even read the signs and the woman was not sure what to say she told her they had to buy them separately which is fine but why speak to her like that? So rude for no reason. If you're going to sell a product that young kids and adults some of who purchase these things have disabilities you should probably make sure your staff is not rude to them.
