As brutal as I have to be, it hurts to say this. Especially because they are in their soft opening phase. As a previous restaurant owner, I can say there needs to be better management. We lice walking distance to this restaurant, and we're thrilled to have it so close. We had their food. And were BEYOND THE MOON!!! I actually had to ask for the chef and ask for a favor. "Please never change,"
The food we have 0 issues with. It's the management. The staff needs a leader here, or they will fail very fast.
We came back a second time back to back, they brought out 2 of the same dishes and called one a veg curry and the other a chicken Tikka masala ...
Our sabzis went cold before they brought out the breads (cold) They forgot the one dish our guest we brought to introduce them to the restaurant dishs.
In the time we were there, 3 families of 3-5 guests walked out. The first time I was there, I waited by the door for 6 mins before I had to walk to the counter and ask for a seat.
PLEASE HIRE I grew up in this town. I LOVE your food, and the staff you have is very pleasant, just not trained and stressed. I don't like to see a server on the brink of crying because it's not their fault. I stepped up and asked her to put everything down and to take a deep breath calm down. It's ok. Moments later, a few customers said the same thing at the counter when they went to pay.
Service I am only giving ya a 2 because the staff was trying but everything happing was out of their control.. EDIT: THE staff adapted and take out times and went down in waiting time tremendously!!! Thank you owners for taking the time to read the comments and grow!
I see great things in the future of this business
please never change the chef, PLEASE! LOL.
I wish you guys the best. Feel free to reach...
Read moreWe have been waiting 17 years for an Indian restaurant here in Richboro and.... it was worth the wait. We have been to dinner here a couple of times and ordered. takeout food several times. The food is excellent- we grew up in New York City, and we haven't had this caliber of Indian food since we moved away from there. We had take out from here on Christmas day instead of the traditional dinner we would have. My sister and her family from New York were raving about it and saying how they wish they had as good a place as this in their neighborhood in Brooklyn. This is easily the best biryani I've had in memory. The spice levels are perfect, and when you ask for a certain heat level, it's exactly as expected. There were some new dishes that we were not familiar with, which we really love too. When we dined-in the service was gracious and attentive and they were always willing to explain dishes that we were not familiar with. We are definitely going to be regulars here, and we are already planning to get takeout for New Year's Eve. Excellent, excellent, excellent!!!! Whatever powers sent them here,...
Read moreI took my friend here for a birthday dinner on a whim. Neither of us is very familiar with indian cuisine ( I think we both had it 2xs previously). It was about 515pm , there were 2 other families. We were seated immediately and we had 2 waiters sharing our service. They were helpful in picking our selections. We got the apps within minutes, they were delicious , the crispy eggplant and the vegetable fritters. Both were delicious put our favorite was the eggplant. Soon after the apps a very large party of about 30 came in and that was THAT. We left there after about 3 hours , over one hour was waiting for our dinner. It was delicious when it finally came. The 2 servers were overwhelmed and the ambiance went from chill and relaxed to WAY over stimulating. The noise level was so loud we tried to race to to finish it fiood.. Birthday girl lives right down the street and was ready to cross this of the list even though the food was so awesome. I will drag her back lol but hopefully they will live over the kinks!! It's going to be a...
