I would have loved to give a four star or five star for this place. It was very clean. They had a big selection of polish and I was very impressed walking in for the first time. My pedicure was awesome and it felt great. I was also there to get a manicure. After my pedicure, I moved to a manicure station felt good great now onto the polish. I have a lot of pooling on the sides of my nails that was not very noticeable inside but once outside driving down the road I could see it. I had also asked to have a flower put on. Before the manicure even started, I had mentioned that I wanted a design on two of my nails. This is the first time I have ever been to this nail salon. It was very excited about it when I walked in, not watching the nail tech and watching the TV she did the process and said all done With no design on my nail. Not the end of the world it’s cool. She forgot it happens to the best of us. She tells me how much it was, which was a little bit more than I normally play at my normal nail salon. I get out my debit card and she says oh no no cards today me standing there dumbfounded because I have $13 cash on me looked at her and said what do you want me to do now I said is there an ATM close by so I walk a block and a half get to the ATM get my money walk back and pay in cash. They were nice enough. People was very impressed with their shop, but everything just kinda added up and I probably will not ever go...

I visited V nails a couple times before, and it was good. I was happy with the service. Sadly not this time. Yesterday I went in for pedi and powder nails. Pedi was ok, I told her a wanted the basic pedi ($45) she cut a couple toe nails too short and it bleed. For my powder nails it was bad experience, I asked for the ones in the first picture. He said he could not do it. Fine, so I asked for the second picture ones and he put the wrong base. Instead of a natural look,I got a pastel pink 😣 so now I have nails that look like they are a 5 year old. Not happy. They charged me $110 dollars for everything. Not happy. First, there is the beautiful salon, which has every color of polish, gels, and dipping powder you could want, lovely luxury decor and excellent ventilation so the place doesn't have that sharp acrylic scent.

Then there are the owners, who are attentive, caring and generous. They were willing to open on a Sunday for me to come in on short notice! They offer a beverage of your choice as a welcome gift, then do everything it takes for every customer to get a luxury spa treatment and exactly the service they want.

They take their time with your service to make you happy and pampered, and are right in the convenience of Downtown Northfield. Definitely on their way to being the best nails...
