When I walk into an antique store or any place of business for that matter, I expect to be greeted in some way. Now I understand that maybe for some people, greeting isnāt there thing but I would at least expect to be acknowledged. During my time in the store, about 30 minutes I would say, I was never greeted, said hello to or even smiled at. I was never acknowledged. Now, before I start, I have been going to antique stores all around in and out of this state for nearly ten years since I was a junior high school student. The worst place I have ever been to doesnāt compare to this store. The crazy part here is I initially reviewed the store via Facebook and not even 24 hours after leaving the review it was removed and deleted. If I had had someone respond to my review and ask what they could do or what could be changed to maybe change my own mind about going back and giving the place another try I would have removed the review! I left an honest review about my first-hand experiences while visiting this store and the response I received back was something along the lines of āDonāt burn bridges and be kind to one anotherā. I responded to that statement simply stating that I was not burning bridges or in any wrong by leaving an honest review of my first-hand experiences of visiting this store. This morning at around 8:00 AM 8/7/17 I saw that my review had been deleted and removed from Facebook. The fact that not only was my reviewed responded an accusation of me being in the wrong but the review then getting deleted itself makes this place look extremely shady and dis-honest. To remove an honest review of your place of business is truly embarrassing and unprofessional.
Very unfriendly staff and a cluttered store. Extremely overpriced items and limited selection. Lady at desk sat on Facebook and ate food (very loudly and annoyingly) the entire time we were there looking around. During the time, we were in there, about 30 minutes I would say, not one person walking in and out was acknowledged in any way. There is a difference between breathing down someoneās neck and stalking them versus simply inquiring if you can be of any help at all or maybe even saying some hello or thanks for stopping by.
Unrelated to my choice of star rating, the prices were extremely high and unreasonable on a majority of the items there.
I would not recommend this antique store to anyone. There are two other great antique/thrift-type stores across the street that know what the world...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was in this store last year with a friend from church. We were treated very rudely by the older gentleman that waited on us. I told my friend we won't go back-but it was an interesting store so we went in again today. We looked at sterling silver rings. We tried on several ( under her watchful eye) and I picked one out that I liked. I handed it to her and asked could she keep it until we got done shopping. The older lady said "Where's the other ring?" I asked what other ring and she said "it was full when you started looking and there's two empty spots now. " I said, "you have the ring I picked out. I didn't notice there were two empty spots." She said, "Well there weren't any when you started looking and now there are two." I asked "Do you think I stole it (I"m 77 years old) and she said "I know what I know. There are two rings gone. This one you handed me and another one". I emptied my pockets and purse to show her and she didn't bother to look. It was humiliating. We will NEVER go back and I will spread the word about the disrespectful treatment we...

The employee was fine with the transaction but kept making passive aggressive comments about how he likes cash for his records. You couldāve just told me āno,ā man. Havenāt been back in 5-6 years because of this...
