Andre’s & Lana’s Market European Grocery Store — Local services in Northglenn

Just discovered this spacious, clean, and very well-stocked market. I found some items I’ve been searching all over for, such as labneh, which will now allow me to try a recipe I’ve been eyeing. This store seemed to have some of everything you could need and so many yummy treats as well. I appreciated the wide selection of meats and cheeses and all of the teas and German noodles as well. A must for anyone who doesn’t speak these languages is a translate app on your phone. Some items have labels in English but most did not. Thank goodness, my app came in handy. I was able to just hold the phone over the label and the phone would let me know what the words say. Very cool! I’m sure the staff would’ve been happy to help as well, but I came prepared. I came to the store 20 minutes before closing, knowing I needed to shop quickly. I ran through the store in 10 minutes and was almost done, with just the candy section left before heading to the cashier. At this point, a staff member informed me that she wanted to go home at 9, the store's closing time, which I totally understood, hence was rushing; I responded politely that it works for me; however, she insisted it didn't work for her, implying I should leave immediately. I only had 5 items in my cart, and checkout would have taken just a minute. I really liked the store's selection, but the unnecessary rudeness from the staff was disappointing. This might be normal in Eastern Europe, but it’s not what I expect here.

Let me first say, I don’t write a lot of reviews but I had to having the most wonderful experience at this new European Market. Right when we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by a friendly cashier (later we learne he was one of the owns) and we were asked if we needed anything. We replied that we were just browsing so we were left to our own vises. The store was adorable. Extremely clean and well organized. Though completely foreign to us, but everything looked sooooo good. We ask the clear about the wide selection of candys and he kinky explain what we were looking at. We checked and talked to the owner and his wife briefly before leaving.
