I have been shopping with mountain man for 20 years. I do wish there was a disclaimer that they have changed vendors on their popcorn. I just recently purchased 6 bags of popcorn as I usually do 3 cheese 3 Carmel. Looking at it at first I noticed the popcorn is neon orange and powdery. But I’m like hey maybe they just put extra cheese in this batch. So as I get Ray for my movie night I open my cheese and Carmel popcorn to mix in my bowl. I grab a few pop in my mouth and it’s literally no taste. So I’m like omg I have Covid I can’t taste my cheese popcorn that looks to be the cheesiest ever. So I try a couple moods and still the taste isn’t there. I have one of my daughters taste it because they know this is mom’s greatest snack forever and plus I received this for Mother’s Day. I get the same reaction from her. So to say I’m highly disappointed is an understatement. Other than ordering from Garrett’s popcorn in Chicago Illinois this is the closest I can get in town. I’m sad very sad that this has happened. If you can get a contact with Garrett’s please do because the formula you are using or offering now is not the same and nowhere close to what you have ever had available. Perhaps the only time I go nuts is when I don't have any... and why I've been settling for grocery store basic nuts, limiting my options which normally is foreign to my character, found a refreshing harbor here... where the limitless choices of nuts and dried fruits were pleasantly comforting .. This privately owned business also offers hand made jewelry pieces which I am also very fond of... and between seeing Curtis, trying my next bag of nuts and perhaps another piece of jewelry ... I look forward to my next visit.....
