Nice place to have parties. Clean and fun for kids. Hoping the owners get more organized in regards to party details.
The owner offered me a price on the phone. My party would be on a Monday so she mentioned she would be able to offer a promotion and that it would be SHARED and that since it was a Monday morning not a lot of other kids. I received an invoice later that evening for a lower amount and also different package (premier) . I went in person to clarify prior to my party because I didn't want to be surprised the day of my party with any changes.. since our interaction over the phone (me paying the deposit) felt a little rushed and I could hear she was assisting me while she was at the front desk. I figured talking in person was best. We talked in person and she showed me around the venue and I left fine looking forward to my party.
I show up the day of my party and as I'm walking in, with all my guest waiting in the lobby she immediately starts telling me that my package is the one of 10 kids and 20 adults (premier) she pointed at the flyer and told me there's only 2 packages (you can check the camera). I told her that she said 20 kids and that she even changed it in her computer. She checked and she even typed in "20 kids ok" the she said the issue was the adults. I'm upset at that point because I came in 3 days prior to specifically avoid this issue.
Infront of all my guest she wants to discuss the party package when the time has already started counting down.
In the future make sure everything is in writing to avoid this issue. My husband paid $25 extra as she mentioned we were over adults. And without fuss we paid. However it's a shame 😕 not even the $25 but how unorganized and what a bad experience the set up of the event was.
We had 22 adults so since it was 2 over 12.50 x 2= $25.
We paid $400 for a party with 20 kids and 22 adults and the venue was still shared (as thats what she mentioned. She'd allow 20 kids but it wouldn't be a private event. I didn't mind because I was getting a discount.)
I could have paid $50 more, had a private birthday and 30 adults. Why wouldn't I have done that instead?? Because we had discussed and came to an agreement on a different price. She made way more than $50 with all the children that weren't with our party that came in. They did not lose.
Get everything in writing. Please send customers their invoices right away to protect yourselves as a business and so the customer could be protected as well.
Honestly that was a bad experience. They were kind afterwards and never had any other issue or problem. Just disappointed. She could have just counted all my guest and let me know during the party instead of trying to right when I'm walking in.
Because of this experience I most likely will not be returning and all my guests saw the experience as well themselves (as they were sitting in the lobby) and based on the experience they might not be going again either. Not good...
Read moreMy experience was horrible. I had parked in front of Jumper's Jungle as I was shopping at several stores in the shopping center. I had walked next door to TJMaxx and shopped for awhile when I went to pay for my purchases and did not have my wallet. I told the cashier to hang on just a minute and that I may have left my wallet in my car. My car was locked and I searched around but it wasn't in the car. I went to use my cell phone and it was dead and my cord was at home. I thought maybe I could borrow a cord or just use their phone from the arcade just to call home and tell them I was okay, and that I had lost my wallet. I thought I may have dropped it on the ground when I exited the car so I went inside Jumper's Jungle to see if anyone had turned in my wallet, or if I could use a charger just for a minute. There was a small boy in chair behind the counter and a man vacuuming nearby. I walked over to talk to him and asked if anyone had turned in a wallet, or if he had a charging cord that I could use just for a minute . He rudely said, "we can't help you." I was shocked at how short and rude he was. I said, okay and shook my head and as I was exiting the arcade, a woman came out from the back and started yelling at me, what do you want? Get out of here! I said, wow. There's something wrong with youpeople, you are rude! She acted like she was going to come outside and try to get physical. Psychotic and rude is the only way that I can describe them. Anyway, these people must have been the cleaning crew, because if they are the owner's, they are trashy, and unprofessional and I don't recommend that they work with the public. Their defensive behavior made me think that maybe they did find my wallet, because I never did find it. I was sent an invoice by the owner Sandra on April 18th confirming my date and time. even paid for an extra hour. I called in July to confirm if we can have vendors inside. spoke with the owner Sandra and she said yes no problem and that my party was booked from 4-7pm. she confirmed so I made my invites and sent them out in September. called today 9/29 and she advised my party is 330-630. I advised her no my party says 4-7 and she was argumentative and rude. never showed any compassion for her mistake. she tried to blame it on an old employee and there was nothing she could do to help me. If I called she would keep my $100 deposit . she said whatever you me invoice says that is the time. Well I check my invoice and it clearly stated 4-7. Caller her back and she said no no it's wrong and she couldn't do anything for me. So I went over the location and she was a different person. She was like since you called i have had to fix my whole system and it wasn't just your party. so I told her what are you going to do to accommodate me? Or help me out with my time. She said there is nothing I can do you can cancel and I'll give your $100 back. She did give me my deposit back but never apologized or said I'm sorry for the confusion or anything.
