Taqueria La Bonita — Restaurant in Norwalk

I love coming to this place after running errands because, while it's kind of a hole in the wall, the food is delicious. It's located inside a plaza with plenty of convenient stores for daily needs and ample parking. Typically, I order tacos, but today I felt adventurous and tried the Tacos Governador. When I arrived, the cashier was busy with a phone order, so the chef noticed and took my order personally. I received my food within 10 minutes and was pleasantly surprised by the size of the Tacos Governador. They were larger compared to other places, and they were packed with shrimp slices, vegetables, and lots of cheese. The dish also included two different sauces, carrots, flavored jalapeños, and chips with beans on top. Although I didn't try the sauces, the overall taste was so good that I didn't feel the need to. I will definitely be returning here, and I highly recommend it to both locals...

We stopped here for lunch and were very impressed. The menu is extensive with plenty of great options to choose from. I started with the shrimp guacamole, which was absolutely delicious and unlike anything I’ve ever seen offered elsewhere.

For the main meal, I ordered a few shrimp tacos and a fuel fish taco — both were cooked to perfection with fresh, flavorful ingredients. The service was excellent as well; the waitress brought the food promptly to our table and was genuinely kind and appreciative.

The restaurant is very clean and well-kept, with outstanding customer service. This is definitely a spot worth visiting, and I’ll be sure to stop by again the next time...

Taqueria La Bonita (Pioneer/Firestone). The best chile verde plate and burrito I've ever had, at half the price of Los Compadres, with handmade tortillas. The carne ranchera is also a hit—soft and fresh to order. The asada tacos are killer. I only have 1.3 million Google views as a reference. I haven't tried many of their items, but I will weekly.

Please try them out and tell them I sent you; perhaps they might give you a sample of their aguas frescas for mentioning me. The best service comes from Noemi, Paola, the cook Caustelo, Adan, and Juan...
