Dazzle Nails — Local services in Norwich Township

This is the worst nail salon I have ever been to. Considering I went there right when they opened it was not clean.. I had to ask one of the nail techs to wipe down the chairs. They were so slow in starting and I was the only one in there! Then not even half way through the service the tech takes a phone call goes to the back and chit-chat on the phone for about 10 minutes.. with one foot half done I got up and left.. now they want to complete the mani/pedi.. how did this end? They attempted to lock the door so I couldn't leave.. we both called the police.. I called 911..the police arrived.. the nail techs said I tried to leave without paying... police tried to convince me to at least pay for half... not happening! Then one of the officers that showed up tried to intimidate me and said "you know we can arrest you for theft"..I politely laughed and said "that's a lie you cannot no service was completed and once she locked that door it became a whole different ball game as the 911 operator said..try again!" Officer goes back inside and comes back with they are asking for at least $10 for their service! What service.. half of one foot...I think not! Officer ask me ok what do you think you owe them? My response was "absolutely nothing! And it's a good thing I'm not easily intimidated by the nail techs or you so when you are done trying to negotiate and intimidate... the amount...

I walked in on a slow Saturday and have never felt more rushed to leave.

Let me explain...

I am not virgin to nail salons, thanks to my grandmother granting my request at 15 to get falsies. It was downhill ever since then!

I was happy to see that they could fit me in right away for a pedicure, but my goodness I barely picked out my polish color and the foot basin was practically overflowing with water. Okay I thought.. that's fine.

As I sat down I realized quickly this lady was in no way trying to offer a relaxing pedicure. Instead, she shoved my feet around like she was in a rush to get back to what she was doing when I walked in (folding towels). Now I love some fresh folded laundry, so I get it.. but give me a break lady! The massage she offered was laughable, and the extra things I paid for with the upgraded pedi were minimally executed.

Overall, the polish is fine, but my experience was less than desired. I will stick with my...

I’ve been here many times over the years without incident and enjoyed my experiences. On my last trip in April, I had a basic pedicure; the tech cut my cuticles too far on both feet to the point where they wouldn’t stop bleeding for a substantial period of time (roughly 15 minutes). I don’t mind that the tech (who seemed new and young) made a mistake, but I do care that she tried to blame me for it by telling me I had sensitive cuticles. The owner did try to fix it, but also asked me repeatedly if I had a blood disorder or other health issues (I do not). I had to leave after the bleeding continued despite the owner’s best efforts to stop it. They thankfully did not try to charge me for the experience. Unfortunately, will be finding a new place...
