To response from owner: Jenny was not requested for my appt, it automatically put me with her when I selected any technician; I was not notified of the reason for the cancelation, which is why I called as I was confused by whole thing and seeking clarification. I became persistent, not overly aggressive, in finding a resolution once it was clear that there would be no exchange of service for money that you had already taken. Now you're publicly asking the buyer of the GC to come back into your shop for a refund when Jenny was adamant that you "have a no refund policy" before she abruptly disconnected our call and never called back to discuss any of this? I previously left a good 4 star review, which you weren't happy with and Jenny absolutely did state that I could come back IF I changed my review to 5 stars or removed it. You can call it right to refusal, it seems more like manipulation. Maybe just ask customers what you could do to get a perfect review if that's what's important to you. This is messy. You should have a disclaimer: anything less than 5 star review and you will not be welcomed back.
EDIT from a 4 star to a 1 star review: 3/1/24 rebooked online for a pedicure, owner Jenny K. canceled my appointment saying that I did not leave a good enough review so I should not come back. They canceled me for not leaving a 5 star review!? As you can see from original review, I had a good experience there and have been there a few times since. I'm baffled that this is how she runs a business!! When I called to inquire about the appt being cancelled and explained I had a gift card to use, she refused to refund the money for the GC but yet refused service. WHAT?? So I asked what we do now because this isn't a solution, she said she'd call me back and HUNG UP on me!! So I'm currently sitting on a gift card with no way to use it, but they kept the money! Honestly, I've never seen such bad business practice. Beyond disappointed and will never recommend or return to this place.

I was accused of picking off the polish before the nail tech was done with my nails…and I was calling to get an appt to get that SAME polish removed.
