ALDI — Local services in Norwood Park Township

Even though I rarely visit this grocery store, I am always glad with the experience each time I would go here for groceries just like recently. I rarely go in here because it is far from my place and there are grocery stores that is near it and going in here would be a little hassle but not recently because I did something and it was near the location so I decided to dropped by and buy some fresh and good quality goodies. Aldi definitely has a grocery item where literally everything is fresh. I like their produce and meat section not only because it is fresh and has a good quality but also because it has a better reasonable price. Another good thing about the store is their organic options to every product I could tell and I could want. I usually love Aldi and everything about it. Yesterday I had a poor experience with customer service at checkout. My card did not work and I had to pay using two cards actually... The cashier was bothered by this and actually refused to allow a man behind me to help me! She just suspended my transaction and made me move aside. I ended up having to wait to finish paying once I had my card ready. She even asked the next woman if she minded if I continued to pay for my order, totally trying to embarrass me. Here is the thing, do I want her fired? NO. Did she do anything horribly wrong, NO. It was just the attitude I am complaining about and I hope she would have more compassion in the future. I shopped at Aldi for about 20 years. Long ago this store didn't have a good name, people didn't like the work you have to do when you go there, the fact that you have to carry a quarter to get a cart and then return the cart, and the products were mediocre at best. Then Aldi improved the quality of their products, added organic food and fruits and vegetable. Most of products there are private label, unique selection which saves time about making the decision of what to buy. This store is grab and go, then the cashier will dump everything in your cart like a big pile of food ( they always rush you out because they are timed) and let the customer deal with that mess.( You can buy bags or take boxes from around the store for free.) I find Aldi to be expensive lately, so I am not going there so often as before, but I like how fast I can get...
