I would give it ZERO stars if possible!!! Absolute worst experience I’ve ever had at any sporting goods store. I bought two pairs of adidas running shoes for my boys that each cost 189.99. My older son wore the shoes one time and the shoelace eye hole broke. A week later my younger son’s shoe formed a hole in the toe area. I attempted to return the shoes at the store I purchased them from and was told since they were not in re-sellable condition they would not issue me any form of compensation, refund, credit, or exchange. I bought the shoes on my score card that I’ve had since inception. So my purchase was easily verified. But, that meant nothing to the manager, as I was told I needed to deal directly with the manufacturer. An Absolute joke of an answer! Dick’s puts the burden of dealing with the manufacturer of a defective product on the customer. Dick’s doesn’t stand by the quality of products they sell or provide a resolution or help to loyal customers, instead the inconvenience loyal customers to fight with the manufacturer. Another absolute joke is the chat to help option. I wasted over an hour of my time trying to get a resolution or contact information so I could talk to a manager only to be offered a $25 gift card. WHAT AN INSULT! Never again,...
Read moreHonestly this store is good but their employees are not. I went in on friday 6/14 and both girls on the cashwrap were doing a horrible job with customer service. There was a line and they were chatting among themselves before calling up a customer. I was called up and attended by Stephanie. I was explaining to her what I needed but she seemed to preoccupied with her phone that she had visibly there. Then she asked me what I needed. Keep in mind I already had told her but due to her concentration being on her phone she made me repeat myself. The other cashier Ashley actually stepped in the back to be on her phone while the line continued to get longer. I was able to see her visually because the door was open and she was just there on her phone until she decided to come out and attend. I have worked Customer Service in retail and this was just a bad experience. I shouldn't be repeating myself because you want to see your phone. No one should be waiting because checking your phone is more important. Hopefully they look into this but this makes the store look really...
Read morePros: It's clean. It LOOKS "orginize" Plenty of staff. Golf dept is okay for a quick pick up. Plenty of clothes (if you are looking for that)
Cons: Prices are not what is marked, and the staff does not honor the correct price. Better check your receipt. No fishing dept? That was a terrible decision; clearly you don't know your consumers here. Whomever decided that should be fired. You would almost monopolize here since KMART closed, target isn't even competitive in that dept. Good luck, hopefully you didn't just build out a space for the next store.
In summary, the staff should learn that if they say a price is something other then the sticker or if they placed it at another sticker price on the shelf, they need to honor the lower price; period. I'm holding management accountable for that,, i won't be back for awhile to cool off. Secondly, this location has a lot to be desired. If you have ever been in another DSG, you know this can't even be called a DSG Express. I hope them the best or eventually a outlet outpost for DSG. Not sure how long...
