I am a very loyal customer to the Nordstrom and Nordstrom rack family for the past 20 years. And my most recent experience at the this store was not the first of many distasteful experiences over the last nine months. You can witness my experience today on your security footage. You should be much more observant of your front and back of the house employees. I went today to take advantage of your clearance sale and was rudely taken back by a store associate by the name of Liz. I am a very savvy Nordstrom customer and am well aware of your sales. I attempted to purchase a very nice jacket on clearance that was labeled clearance at $55 and rang up at $88. The young lady Liz rung up my total and insisted that this item was not apart of the weekend promotion $5,$10, for $15. She made zero effort to reach out to a supervisor or manger to clarify that this was in fact not apart of the promotion. I did pull this rack from the appropriate rack perhaps the store was overwhelming busy or her lack of liking her job or understands true customer service which Nordstrom exemplifies via there motto. Please reassess your staff. I would be delighted to be a regular secret shopper and share my experiences. Staff like Thomas are true Nordstrom employees. Read moreNormally I have a fine shopping experience but today the cashier was very rude. I had a pick up order and there are very clearly 2 lines at check out and a sign that says PICKUP ORDERS . No one was there for about 5 minutes and then a cashier showed up. I got my pickup order and I also wanted to return ONE ITEM. She said I would have to get in the regular check in line. This has never happened. I have always been able to make a return or purchase at the same register if I am already picking up an order. The check out line had at least 10 people in it. I asked her why I would I would have to get in a new line if I was already at the register with her. She rolled her eyes and said she would do it as a “favor” for me this time but that next time each transaction would have to be a different line for pick up, returns or purchases. That is so inefficient and lazy. I told her I have always done all my transactions at the same register regardless what line I am in. She said fine and did my return. The whole conversation took longer than the 60 seconds she spent processing my return. If I’m already in line the cashier should be able to help me with my transaction. Read moreI decided to shop for clothes for my kids and I chose to do it here at Nordstrom Rack. I've been buying a lot of clothes from this store, and I never really have a big problem with their quality, prices, or everything. My last visit to this store was probably only my third visit, particularly to this location. I must say that this store is better than the other store's location I visited. It is clean and bright. It is very well organized. It was not crowded, which I liked the most, and I was able to shop in peace. Most importantly, I like their choice and their clearance. I was able to choose a lot, and I am confident that the kids will like what I bought from them. They really did. Their selections are not only wonderful, but the quality is also top-notch and the prices are reasonable, especially for those that I pick from their clearance.
