Produce World — Local services in Norwood Park Township

I love this place, I buy my produce here all the time. They have a good selection in general, the only problem is there's an awkward a strange assistant manager there that's follows you around the store if he's never seen you before and makes assumptions on people character and a Ukrainian girl who l of looks like a zombie from the dawn of the dead that keeps their eye on anyone who's not Ukrainian/European to make sure they don't run out the store with a box of mangos . They are prejudice and bias and treat any one who's a minority or brown like they are gonna shoplift. They watch to much TV and need to live in the real world. Maybe they should eat more fresh produce because they seem anxious, dehydrated and malnourished lacking vitamin d sunlight and it's making them racist and ignorant. They think they are the only honest good people and everyone else is bad. If Jesus went in there to shop they would treat him like a thief when really they are dealing with a saint. They must keep in mind, Jesus is not Ukrainian with blue eyes he's brown. I guess the year 2020 really traumatized them, stop treating people who shop for fruits and vegetables like thieves. I really love this Produce World! I am really amazed at their service! All of their staff is friendly, nice, decent, helpful, and professional. They will greet you once you enter the place and also they are willing to guide you around the place. They are working so fast and quickly. They all know how to treat and serve the customers so right. All of them are professional and personable. Produce World’s place is so huge, they have a big parking lot, and the whole place is well-designed and organized. You will absolutely love their ambiance. But the only problem is their cashiers. It has long lines and moving so slow. Maybe it is because so many people really love their place and keep visiting. But still, Produce World is exceptional! You can find anything you need in this spot! Everything here is worth buying and worth every penny. Their produce is really great! Produce World is such a hidden gem! Can't be beat for fresh produce and meat, but limited in certain staple items like breads, baking products etc... this started off as a review from 2 years ago. However, today is a new story. The cashier at this place is the most rude person I've ever met in my life. When we walked up to the register she was on the phone talking in Spanish. She proceeded to continue to talk on the phone almost the entire time she was checking us out. Never said hello. How are you nothing. We questioned her about an item she rang up. She said " excuse me" like we shouldn't question her about anything. She continued to push the items down the belt instead of instantly bagging them. I guess that was our job to bag them since she couldn't be interrupted on the phone. No thank you after I paid. Just another rude look from her. To add insult to injury she couldn't even ring up a plant correctly. I bought geraniums that were supposed to be approximately $14 at the price of a hibiscus bush for $29.99 so I need to return to get my money back.
