This was hands down THE BEST shopping experience I have ever had, thanks to Kathleen and Garrett! My husband and I were in town for a wedding and realized that we did not have the right attire for the dress code. We came in to this Macy’s, fully expecting to have to spend hours trying things on and potentially even having to shop at multiple stores. But Garrett and Kathleen were like our own personal shoppers and turned this into the EASIEST formal attire shopping trip of our lives! Garrett was able to help my husband figure out just the right colors, styling, and fit for the pieces he needed in just 10 minutes. I initially went the independent route and grabbed an armful of dresses. But when I got to the fitting room, Kathleen was ready to help. After I had tried on a couple dresses, she went to grab me a different size, but also came back with another dress she thought might work — and she absolutely nailed it. The dress she picked out was PERFECT and fit like a dream. I didn’t even bother trying any of the other dresses I had picked out myself! Kathleen and Garrett, thank you both so much for going above and beyond for us. You made what could have been an exhausting and stressful wardrobe emergency into a total delight. Wish we lived locally so we could...
Read moreWent in on a Tuesday after dinner just to see why on earth Macy's still exists. It probably won't for much longer from the state of this place.
There were maybe 5 employees in the whole store. Right when you walk in you're assaulted by the perfume counter. Past that is a selection of clothes that belong in a thrift store because your grandma is cleaning out her closet. The even smaller mens section had the perfect attire for a Miami pimp's night out crossed with stuff you'd get for cheaper at Target with the same look and feel.
The shoe section was boring and uneventful. There was a perpetual feedback noise coming through the speakers like someone was holding the intercom up to one, drowning out Kelly Clarkson's greatest hits from 2014. The terrible music was punctuated by ads that only played in Spanish. You can't make this stuff up.
I predict the store won't last for...
Read moreTried to ask a question to the dressing room attendant and he ignored me to spit out his dip/nicotine pouch into a coffee cup. I walked away and he came and found me in the store to ask me what my question was…. kinda weird. Also not fun that I had to walk the older cashier attendant through my transaction with a gift card. Me and two other customers had transactions that took over 10 minutes each. Really feels like we need to brush up on training here (especially the part where it tells you not to use tobacco products inside while the clock and using a store computer)
Also separately frustrating that they don’t price match products to other stores. Every other store sells this item for $25, and it’s $50 here. If i get future gift cards I’ll literally give them away instead of attempting to...
