Two of my close friends had very bad experiences at this store and warned me not to deal with them.....I should have listened.

I needed new furniture and couldn't find what I was looking for elsewhere so I decided to give it a try and hoped for the best.

My salesman was very friendly. I was buying quite a bit and he assured me he would be available to me during the order and delivery if there were questions or concerns. He assured me that the delivery team would be equipped to deal with my wood floors and things would go smoothly. When the delivery came and there were problems, he didn't want to be bothered and was no longer friendly. A pair of chairs with different legs was not what I ordered. He truly didn't want to be bothered with me since he had already made the sale. He had promised that the delivery men had pads for the furniture feet since all my floors are wood. They had no idea what I was talking about.

To make a long story short, after having the wrong legs sent back 2 times for style and color, I finally get the correct legs in the correct color. I tried to get in touch with the managers of the store, the owners of the store, or some type of customer service. They didn't care and just wanted me to go away since the sale was already made.

The reason for the 2 stars and not 1 is the ladies in the warehouse. They became my lifeline in dealing with all the mistakes that were made by the salesman. They were genuinely helpful and cared about correcting the mistakes.

I should have listened to my friends and avoid the headaches of dealing...

This place is discriminating, I truly hope I'm the only person who ever experienced this, because it's sad... I recently purchased a home and in need of some quality furniture. I came across this place from map search and decided to give it try, now I know never to return! I walked in the door and was "greeted" by a sale person there, who turned around on his spinning chair and exchanged "how are yous", he never got up from the chair. So I thought this place is similar to Ikea, where you just walk around and look at stuff. However, 10 minutes later, two older ladies walked in and the sales person was instantly all over them, asking them how's their day going, making small jokes and gave a detailed introduction to their products. He walked them around and just doing the best he can. While I was left unattended, not even one of those "let me know if you need anything". I cannot think of any reason why the ladies and I were treated so differently, except the fact that I am a young Asian man. Apparently I don't fall under their preferred customer demographics. If you are white and older, expect excellent service....

Disappointing experience with product and repair service. We purchased a sofa set and kitchen table with chairs. First touch with service dept they said table bench was out of warranty bc warranty starts when you order (4 month lead time), not when you receive. However, manager stepped in and corrected. Bench horizontal support was tacked together with small nail and glue which failed...multiple service trips and calls to manager finally resolved with a new connection detail which seemed to solve. Sectional couch had multiple service calls with repairs implemented. One section we waited 90 days +/- for them to return. Still have issues with 2 section pieces that connection failed that their service team implemented. Store in Novi claims they did not work on it and has not returned my...
