Normally my in-store Kohl's experience is wonderful. They have lots of high-quality, cute sweaters and jeans that are very comfortable. The discounts are much better than most other department stores. However, my online ordering experience was absolutely horrible. My items took way longer than expected to get shipped into the store. I don't know if this is thanks to staffing issues or what, but I was beginning to wonder if they would ever come in. Anyway, once they did I went in-store to pick up my items as directed on the email. I made the unfortunate mistake of opting to pick up my items at a Kohl's location at which I had previously worked. I didn't really want to be there (I usually go to different locations) but I didn't want to wait for the items to be returned and then have to order them again. So, I went in, thinking nobody would say anything. I made my peace with leaving Kohl's due to medical issues I was experiencing the previous week. While I was waiting for an associate to grab my order from the stockroom, the manager Kelsey came out and harassed me for not coming back to work. I didn't really know what to say, and I don't think she cared. She wouldn't have cared if I tried explaining that I had lupus and severe pain all of last week to the point where I couldn't even go on my camping trip for my birthday. It was too much to explain, so I apologized and she just said "I thought it was you" and stalked off. It made her look very immature and unprofessional for a manager, and honestly in that moment I was glad to not work under her anymore. It's not just her either. Kelly is the other manager that is awful as well. She puts too much pressure on new associates to push the stupid Kohl's card, and treats everyone like they are below her. Amy is the only GOOD manager there, so for the store's sake I hope she remains. I will take my Kohl's business to other locations from...
Read moreI have been an avid Kohls shopper since 1999. I loved getting the coupon discounts and the Kohls cash and shopping the clearance and using my 20 and 30% off on that clearance. In recent years the discounts are no longer good on select name brands. Ok , I get that. Of late that window is getting smaller and smaller. Today I was lied to by the cashier. I asked why I only got .08 cents off on my 3 items all on clearance. I was told that the discounts never apply to clearance. I have been doing this since 1999. That’s how I shop. Also in the past when you have had Kohls cash it has been applied to all the items so if you did have a discount you would get something off each item. Not how it was rung up today. If I had known I would have rung up the most expensive item separately. It would have cost me 14.00 instead of 24.00 and the one item that might have qualified for the 20% would have been 3.00 cheaper. Just beware! Check your receipts closely. What you thought was a...
Read moreIf you need any transaction approved or need to work with a manager, don't work with Jason! He has horrible customer service and atreat me as if I were stupid and didn't understand the transaction I was making. I clearly earned kohls cash for a purchase over $350! When I exchanged the shoes that didn't fit the recipient for a merchandise credit so that they would get a "giftcard" to get what they want, he explained to me that I was decreasing my purchasing below the threshold for that extra kohls cash. Agreed. BUT, I wasn't getting money back. I was still spending that original $350, just no with those shoes. It's $10 in kohls cash and not that big of a deal but 1. It's the principle. I should still get the kohls cash. And 2. He didn't have to be rude and act like I was an idiot and dint understand the transaction and was very snippy and sarcastic with his responses. Terrible. If you need a manager at Wentzville Kohls, don't...
