Always go to this location because my Granddaughter loves it. Everything was great until we ordered a kids meal and instead of kids/toy booklet we decided to get the kids scoop of ice cream. They said they could hold it for us until we were done eating. After eating I went to the counter to get my gbabys scoop of ice creme. The Manager said 'That would be $1.79 " I said what? As I told her this was the free scoop of ice creme, but I just wanted to add chocolate syrup and had no problem paying for that. She didnt seem to know her job and was questioning other staff, then got rude to me. With that the young man that helped me (Noah) heard the conversation and said 'I have that here for her im sorry.' The Manager said well we have still no way to charge you to just add syrup. I said "Well what is the difference in cost, since we didnt like plain Vanilla?" "She said 30 cents" I said no problem and started to hand her a dollar. She said "I told you we have no way to charge you for that' I said just forget it then, I was getting aggravated and said "there has to be a way to charge for additionals" the young man Noah that helped me handed me the scoop with chocolate syrup and she went off on him in front of many people. Saying ' Dont you ever undermind me again" etc...it was so embarrassing and I told him im sorry and tried to hand it back to him but he said no. Needless to say it made for an awful experience in front of my young Granddaughter. I couldn't help to feel bad for the nice young man that was trying to help and do the right thing. He knew I had no problem paying and his Manager was so rude. Chick Filet please retrain your Management on customer service and find a way to charge for additionals. Way to go O'Fallon Chick Filet for...
Read moreI went to this location today and have always had excellent service. I ordered breakfast inside early morning and was the only one around. All of a sudden about 3 families come in behind me, swarming the only person working the counter. I waited another ten minutes, finally the only guy working the counter turns around, gets my order, and calls my name. I go up to the counter and say, yes, and a homeless man out of the corner of the restaraunt comes up to the counter and grabs the bag, the worker lets him take it, and doesn't even look at me as I am standing right there. CLEARLY the homeless man's name is not Jessica, and I waited another ten minutes. Everyone behind me was served, they never called my name again. I tried to get the attention of the only person working the counter, but he was getting the other people's food at the cash register. I had to leave because I was late to work. I never got any of my food, I was late to work, and I am just astounded an employee would let an older homeless looking man take the food that was specifically made for me, and didn't even ask me, hey, was that yours, can we make that for you again? It's...
Read moreThere are two things that separate CFA from 90% of other fast food establishments. 1.) Impeccable, friendly service and 2.) fresh, hand breaded, chicken.
CFA employees are always so kind and attentive. I know that’s how they’re trained and are forced to act as such but it’s refreshing nonetheless. The “my pleasure” attitude goes a long way.
As far as the chicken goes there’s not much more for which you can ask. This stuff is good even by sit down restaurant standards. Heck, it’s even better than some sit down places who fumble the ball when it comes to fried chicken. They use a pickle brine which really helps tenderize the meat and cut through the fattiness of the oil.
My favorite item is the spicy chicken sandwich. A lot of places just take their regular chicken sandwich, slap some spicy mayo on it, and call it spicy. CFA goes above and beyond with a spicy breading. It even looks like the spiciness permeates the chicken itself which is wild. You can’t miss no matter what you get from this place. The sides are good, the drinks are good, the desserts are good, even the sauces are good. What’s not to like?...
