I have chosen 3 stars instead of 1, because we only dealt with 1 person for our experience. I don’t know if the entire establishment is like this or if it’s just the person we dealt with. I went in with 2 friends to get ear piercings. The man who helped us was named Rooster / Micheal. He was rude throughout the piercings, saying things like “You’re fine, it’s not that bad. I study pain so I know.” He climbed on top of my 2 friends for their piercings and raised his voice during them. It was quite unpleasant compared to our other piercing experiences!! He also did not sanitize our ears before piercings, and chose oddly different earrings for each of us even tho we were getting the same piercings. The next day (and for the next week) we all had swollen, throbbing, tender ears. I would even wince when my hair brushed my ear (and that was with taking the max ibuprofen & Tylenol on a 4hr rotation) so I knew something was very wrong! Apparently, my ear had started to SPLIT down the middle from the conch. I chose not to return because I didn’t trust him touching my ear again (my friends felt the same, so we went elsewhere to fix it). It turns out he had used very cheap earrings, chosen the wrong gauge AND shape/type for all the piercings, which led to up to our issues. Randomly found Mat, looking for through all the portfolios in the Tattoo Parlors online in the Clarksville/Nashville area. I was looking for a certain style and wanted someone who did the 'style' a lot and not just someone who could mimic the style. Someone that would be able to cover up an older, large tattoo. Almost, went out of state until I found Mat's stuff, which the tattoo he had to cover up, didn't even phase him and said he 'cover up a black box if necessary.' Is Professional and charges less per hour than what I would have expected, and accurately deducts for time when breaks are needed.

We was able to coordinate together for the best colors to pop on my skin tone. His name is tied to it, so if I went a direction that he thought was a bad idea, he tried to skew my point of view towards a route that would look the best. He wouldn't just take my money and just tattoo whatever composition/layout I wanted, without some type of professional input.

He can also draw/freehand in a moment's notice. I had some extra space and told him I wanted 'this, this and this.' He flipped my arm over and it drew it in seconds with detail as if he took it home and sketched it.

Have been looking for an “artist” since moving to the area…. The search is finally over! Cannot express how pleased I am with the work here. My husband has now gotten 3 tattoos, and I have received 1…. With more on the schedule! Very clean, which is vital when I am considering a tattoo, even the bathroom! I had to reschedule short notice, due to a death in my family. Not a single issue, they allowed me to reschedule when I returned, and I did not lose my deposit. Sitting 7 hours with someone can be rough…. NOT HERE! The entire time I found myself laughing and enjoying the atmosphere. Shout out to Matthew, thank you for your work Sir.
