I ordered food & drinks about an hour ago. The woman taking my order through the drive through was obviously new which was totally fine. When I got to the window we completed the correct order & paid cash as the CC machine was not working (also fine). I tasted the 1st drink 1/2 Rt beer 1/2 Diet Dr pepper. It tasted as though one of the drinks needed to be replaced, so i simply notified the girl at the window & she told another gentle man. When I got the next 1/2 Dr pepper 1/2 diet Dr Pepper it also tasted off so I just reiterated to her that I think the diet Dr pepper was out or going out. Not asking for anything & really just letting them know so they could check, at this time the gentleman she told about it told me it was not out & I said oh ok, they just tasted a little off, I think perhaps it had just been changed recently & needed to run for a minute to get through the line. Again I wasn't asking for anything, at this time Jessica the GM steps in and is extremely rude and short with me. She (GM Jessica) does bark at me that she can either get me something else or give me a refund, but I told her (GM Jessica) there was no reason to speak so rudely to me as I was not even complaining or asking for anything. She (GM Jessica) turned to the woman working the door & rolled her eyes and talked about me. She (GM Jessica) was so extremely rude & unprofessional. Yes she (GM Jessica) did offer a refund or replacement but that was not the point, she was absolutely rude in the way she handled the entire thing. I left never wanting to visit another Sonic & especially that one, even though we visit at least weekly. My entire family of 6 work in customer service & I cannot believe how she (GM Jessica) escalated it & spoke at me. I am certain she (GM Jessica) was having a bad day but I for sure will not return after being treated that way. At the end she was speaking to the whole store about me & how awful I was. I did state to her that "she did not need to treat me like I was acting like a f*g bh as I was just telling the girl at the window that they might want to check." An hour later we pull up to drive through to see what was going on. An older lady opened the window to talk to us. After explaining to her our situation she said our order was never put into her system. I asked her if she could please make us our order and give it to us for free and she said, āNo. your order isnāt/never was on my screenā.
Needless to say I am so so upset with the lack of service I received from this Sonic. The lady didnāt even talk to her co-workers to see what was going on and try to fix the situation. I had a horrible night and just wanted Sonic to help make me feel better and fix the night and it did the opposite. A bunch of teenagers/younger adults work here that don't know the difference between "mayo" and "tomato"!! I got asked my order 3 times at the speaker box and an additional 3 more times at the window and they still got my order ALL kinds of wrong! Also when a young man is waiting around with his hand in a glove in the ice machine doesn't look very healthy with covid going on, and another young man coming in from break with his apron on sweating about to go back in to serve customer....btw thats how long I was in the line!! Fast food isn't rocket science. Mangers please get some people, that follow directions and that knows how to multi task. It will do better for your business!
