Quality massage, but everything was suspect and subpar. I hate to give a less than favorable review (and honestly, I think this is my firstâthough well deserved), but this was probably my least favorite massage experience.
Starting with bookingâyou cannot book over the phone, but rather you get abruptly directed to book your service online.
Upon arrival, my party was asked a million questions about what kind of service we wanted when we were under the impression our online booking covered that. On top of that, the services offered/booked online did not match what the front desk attendant was offeringâit was extremely confusing. I wonât even explain how confusing the payment (prior to the massageđ§was)âthough hereâs a pro tip if you decide to visit despite these warnings: paying in cash gets you a slight discount and hot stones added to your service.
Next, my friend was celebrating a recent wedding and I tried to make the experience more special by prearranging a champagne toast to follow the massages. The day prior, I called and was told Iâd get a call back on whether I could byob or if theyâd provide a bottle for purchase. I did not get that callback!!
What really upset me though was that on the day of the massage, the attendant said sheâd go next door to get the champagne and set up a table for us to have our toast when we all finished. My friend and her mother finished ahead of me and were greeted by tiny pours of red wine with no explanationâfurther confusing the situation. Why was the champagne I purchased âred wine?â And for what I paid her to purchase the bottle, Iâd expect to see it opened and have the bottle there to enjoy.
It was just a very confusing experience and the chaos upon arrival made it very difficult to enjoy the massage or the experience. Clean...
Read moreHere from Chicago. Booked a couples massage. Iâm a licensed esthetician, I work with licensed massage therapist as my mother is also a massage therapist. So let me start off from the very beginning.. 1st off there was no type of consultation or consultation form. I was shown to the room and told to undress and lay face down. The ladyâs came in asked how I liked the pressure and that was it. They kept talking to each other in another language. Which i was like ok w/e.. 2nd: I could tell my lady was on her phone cuz she kept massaging me with one hand and would go really slow and then rushed. Then her phone straight up rang and she left the room for a good 5-10 mins I thought maybe she had an emergency. 3rd: itâs not a full body massage, she didnât do my arms, she did my back and my palms. Worked on my left foot for a long while with one hand (on her phone) and then rushed the end and they literally do the little chopping at the end and said she was done and before I could even open my eyes she was gone. 3rd: the door wasnât all the way closed either and when she left it was open. No privacy. 4th: the front desk lady asked my husband about tip so my husband of course was giving tip anyways, I did tell him to not leave mine a good tip. He put it in the envelope and she straight up looked inside and asked only this? She wanted more. My husband explained why and she said ok goodnight and that was that. $160 + $20 tip down the drain. Donât waste your money or time, just have your spouse give you one lol. These reviews are all...
Read moreDO NOT GO HERE The person running the front desk was nice but quickly said she didnât want to take card and would prefer cash, this was before we even got our massage and was hesitant to give a receipt. To begin with, they started the massage later than the scheduled time. The massage itself, it you can even call it that consisted of rubbing oil with intense pressure in a sloppy fashion. I told the lady to go softer several times because I was in pain and she would soften for a couple of minutes and then start man handling me again. My back hurts now from how hard she was going. She left me cold and uncovered for probably half of the massage. She walked in and out of the room to get supplies several times. At the end she rubbed me down with rough old towels and did some weird stretch thing that could have injured me even more. Throughout the couples massage they kept talking in a different language. These people are not professionally trained. At the end we tipped them $20 when they really shouldnât have received anything after the lack of professionalism they showed. They were visibly upset by this and pointed to the ârecommended tippingâ sheet they keep at the front desk, and asked for more⊠I find this extremely unprofessional when the service isnât cheap and they werenât great at their job or customer service. They reply to reviews saying theyâre sorry but clearly they havenât changed anything because they keep doing the...
