Looking for awesome Chinese food? CHINA TEA is THE PLACE to get it. We first found China Tea reading the excellent reviews by others on Yelp! and decided we would give China Tea a try. EXCELLENT! The menu has a great variety and each dish is freshly prepared to order. This is a family owned and operated restaurant, and they care deeply about the food and service they provide. The place is ALWAYS busy, which is great for their business, but even better for US in the community because this hopefully means China Tea will be here serving great dishes for years to come!
The Spring Rolls are honestly the best we've had ANYWHERE in the world, [including China]! They are fresh, light and so very flavorful. We also really love their Lemon Chicken....so yummy! Egg Fu Yung is delicious and full of great tastes. We love the Moo Shu selections. The Won Ton Soup is excellent. China Tea also has an item we'd never heard of before 'Bird's Nest,' which is an amazing creation and just so delicious can't put into words. We have also enjoyed Happy Family is a very tasty meal, again full of authentic flavor. We had to try Hawaiian Fried Rice and it is another winner! Full of great tastes. We have enjoyed the Me Fun, Lo Mein, Chicken with Broccoli, Beef with Broccoli, Dumplings.....ALL are absolutely delicious and AMAZING.
We have tried many things on the menu and have ALWAYS been 100% thrilled with our dinner[s].
This family truly puts their heart in to the wonderful food they make and they work so hard to make it perfect.
Give China Tea a try. You WILL be absolutely DELIGHTED!
We LOVE CHINA TEA! Thank you for being OUR favorite restaurant.
Note: Order early and be patient. Word is getting out about China Tea and they are very busy all day long. Even with a wait, it's well worth the time waiting for...
Read more⭐ 2/5 – Amazing Food, Terrible Ordering Experience
The food at China Tea is delicious—no complaints there. I’ve eaten here several times and always enjoyed it. But actually placing an order? That’s the real challenge.
Online ordering never works, and the phone either doesn’t ring or no one answers. I’ve tried calling on different days and times with no luck. One time I called and they said over an hour wait and I was literally on my way there .If you do get through, better order dinner at breakfast because the wait is that long.
This time, since no one answered the phone and the online system wasn’t working, I just walked in. To my surprise, there was a sign that said “Walk-ins welcome, but you must call to place an order.” How is that supposed to work?
There were about six other people waiting, and not one staff member acknowledged me. Luckily I overheard one of them say I've been waiting for almost 2 hours. I asked them did you order now? They said no. I ordered it online. No one explained that I needed to order online. Just complete silence.
It’s really frustrating to see such great food with great space potential and plenty of employment opportunities, dragged down by poor communication and lack of organization. I want to support this place, but they’ve got to fix the ordering process—because right now, it’s a mess. And after reading a lot of reviews, I truly hope the front lady doesn't come at me for...
Read moreVery good NY style Chinese made by a proud family! Orlando and good Chinese food don't mix. I've been on a 17 year long mission since I moved from New jersey, to find the best NY style Chinese in Orlando. While there are a few decent places, none of them worth writing about. China Tea on the other hand, yeah, they get my landslide vote! When you order fried rice here, it is legit! It's the right color (from the soy sauce), with all the correct ingredients, this is what a proper fried rice should be. General Tso's made with actual chunks of chicken, even the Mongolian beef is actual meat, much thicker than the thinly sliced proteins from other places. If you want that delicious aftertaste that follows a great flavors, this is your place! (When we go, we dine in, but they only have 6 tables, so don't try and make reservations. Take out is their main business. I don't think they deliver either. I'd give 5 stars if they had a regular dining room, but again that's not really their focus, so just consider the food 5 stars accordingly) This is the best, consistent, Chinese food that I've experienced in...
