The service I received on 26Aug24 at about 9:40am at this store was atrocious. Realizing the man who was serving me was sniffling quite a bit, near the end of preparing my sandwich I said to him (I think nicely) that he ought to be wearing a mask. His response...if it was a health risk, he would have been required to. Since its sinuses, it is not required. Then to cap it off, as I was about to walk out, he said that I should be careful how I give advice and make assumptions - it may be ok where I am from, but may not be appreciated here. What feistiness!!! How thin skin that you should take offence with a recommendation to wear a mask while sniffling and serving food! If I had said he had something contagious, I would be assuming. But...I did not assume he was sniffling while preparing my sandwich. I am almost sure he also did not put on gloves to handle the cookies I ordered!!
I don't know if the US is different from anywhere else in the world, but once handling food, you cover up, esp if sneezing, coughing, sniffling. Body fluids can be passed on, no matter what is causing the sniffle, sneeze or cough. This guy needs some serious training in food handling &...
Read moreOrdered online at 12.05pm for 12.25 pick up. Went in line as it was not ready, worker (name with D) just keeps saying they don't have a mobile order. Told me to go online and cancel. There's no cancel! Got in line again, showed him my mobile website and cc pending. He just wouldn't bother. Told me to wait. Got in line a 3rd time. He sends me to the side, tells me to explain but stops me to tell me that it's covid time and back up (keeping in mind the other lady working next to him was coughing and no mask! And I had a mask on! ) Email finally came...first saying order is confirmed. Then another saying it's cancelled, but if I didn't, to contact store! No help whatsoever! I understand he didn't get an order on his system, but waiting in line 3 times, telling me to back up when he told me to get closer, and not finding a solution. Worst CSR ever! Read moreWe went to subway as a stop before heading to the parks. We're locals so we usually bring food in. I started to order my sub and the person at the counter started making it.
When my sister went to order her sub, a second person came out. We were told her name was Marie. From the get go, she was in a rush. I'm not sure why as myself, mom, and sister were the only ones in the restaurant. She began hastily making the sub. While she was making the sub she had her AirPod in one ear and was on the phone. She wasn't listening and anytime I asked for more of something she said "that is more".
We tried to correct her but the ignoring, and her phone call, continued. She put the wrong condiments on, forgot other things. She was horrifically rude. I wanted to say refund us and leave, but my sister and I were starving and already behind schedule. We just decided to get the food and go.
