UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE FROM STAFF. AVOID THIS LOCATION. If you want your day ruined go here.
I'm still fuming after my recent visit to the Chipotle location an hour before closing. As a former Chipotle employee, I know firsthand the importance of providing excellent customer service. Unfortunately, my experience was a stark contrast to the standards I've come to expect from this brand.
I ordered a bowl to go and made a simple request for extra sauce from the Barbacoa meat juice, something I've always been accommodated with in the past. However, the employee, Daniela, looked me dead in the face and curtly said "no" without any explanation or apology. Her demeanor was completely unprofessional, and it was clear she didn't care about providing good customer service.
To make matters worse, when she handed me my order, she carelessly threw the receipt in front of me instead of handing it to me politely. It was clear that she didn't consider how her behavior reflects on the business or the importance of treating customers with respect.
As a former employee, I know that this kind of attitude would typically result in disciplinary action, if not termination. It's disappointing to see that the management at this location seems to be failing in their responsibility to ensure their staff is providing excellent customer service.
After a fun day at Epic Universe, the poor treatment I received really ruined my night, and I was shocked that I was treated like that despite being a paying customer. I expect more from a brand like Chipotle, and I won't be returning to this location again. If this kind of behavior is allowed to continue, it's clear that the company is not prioritizing customer satisfaction.
I hope that the management at this location takes my feedback seriously and takes immediate action to address the issues with their staff. Until then, I'll be taking my...
Read moreThis review is based on 2 visits here. 1st visit: My daughter when in to get her bowl, which she always just gets ONLY rice and beans. No toppings, cheese NOTHING else. When she gets to the car she seems so sad and upset when I asked her what happend she said they charged her full price for her bowl. I checked bowl and it was a COMPLETE joke. The portion size was so offensive. So to charge $10 for a small baby side of only rice and beans is ridiculous. She's too shy to complain, so I went in. Manager acknowledged cashier charged her wrong and made a new bowl and gave refund which as appreciated.
2nd visit: Worker didn't know how to made a kids meal. I ordered 3 kids cheese quesadillas, 1 veggie burrito, 1 chicken bowl. When I asked for kids meal she said she didn't know how 2 make it so she asked for help and her co worker just pointed to the small Tortilla and that was it so she obviously was still lost and put them in griddle without anything on it. I told her it was wrong and she asked for help again and they came over and basically took over to make it. Point is she should of been trained to make a simple kids meal. These employees are being "told to do so" regarding portion sizes. So whoever management is or training them is telling them purposely to be small with portion sizes which makes sense to all these reviews saying the SAME EXACT thing. It's unfortunate this new Chipotle is doing such a poor job in service and quality bc we live in the neighborhood and we're so happy to see it open up. The Chipotle near FL mall, Vineland, Dr phillips, hunters creek have all been great to us with their portion sizes... but this location is the opposite. I'll drive the distance to the others so I don't waste my time...
Read moreTo begin, the service was absolutely disorganized. The first person on the line didn't seem as if she had any care for being there and wasn't at all willing to serve proper portion sizes. I requested more rice, and she literally used the tip of the spoon to fill it up. It's rice, you can afford to serve more. The meal itself was bare of any essential quality, to which the second person on the line asked "did we make this perfect for you?". After explaining how I needed more food than what was given, she added a few more spoons of sides almost begrudgingly. The girl at the register did not know her hands from her elbows, because regardless of how many times we explained we had two bowls and a side of chips, she could not comprehend simple mathematics. After we received the receipt, I looked it over and rellalized they charged us double for guacamole. When approached about it and asked for a side, she called over her lead who didn't even speak with us and just refunded it whilst taking the original receipt.
I know new locations have their hiccups, but this was just pathetic. Even though it's closer. I would rather travel further out of my way to another chipotle than deal with this incompetence again. Either retrain your staff to better suit the needs of the public, or tear down the location and place another quick service restaurant. But overall, this new place has failed first...
