First and foremost, the customer service is excellent.

I was able to communicate with the owner and get all the details of the process along with updates with my insurance BEFORE MY INSURANCE.

They were able to work with me in a pretty bad situation (my car got hit by a deer) and it looked like it was going to be a total loss. Roberto was able to work with my insurance to make sure that wouldn't happen and repair the car (2019 Hyundai Elantra). I only had the car a few months so to experience a total loss would be bad.

I don't know the ins and outs of body work but it was pretty clear to me that not only the owner but the staff knew how to take a wreck and make it look pristine again.

When I got my car back, it was freshly washed and looks like it had just come out of the lot when I first purchased it.

Overall an excellent shop, I had previously used Caliber Collision in Oakland but I will be bringing my car back to Fruitvale Collision Center after this...

They were quick to respond both through Yelp messaging and follow-up over the phone, ordered and received the necessary lights to fix my front headlight within a couple of hours, and finished repair even sooner than they estimated or I expected! I had hit a deer over the weekend (the deer was fine, I promise! Hopped off the highway without any sign of injury) and my front headlight was shattered. $380 felt steep to me but was more than fair as it was the lowest out of all the other estimates I got. I learned that my Nissan Altima had tricky lights to get, and Fruitvale Collision fixed my bumper at no extra charge. I was concerned the auto sensing option of my light would be affected, but a month later and no problems at all.

Tip: if you want to wait it out somewhere, Red Bay Coffee and Ale Industries are a relatively quick walk away and have spacious outdoor seating. I wanted to get tacos but couldn't see any places with outdoor dining I would feel...

I believe choosing this body shop was the best decision I made this year. The day before Thanksgiving, while driving to the market, a reckless driver hit the side of my blue Honda and fled. The car's side was dented, and the door was severely scratched. Fortunately, I was able to schedule the repair at a body shop suggested by the insurance company. However, after reading negative reviews about that body shop, I sought another option and found Fruitvale Collision Center. The repair only took around three days because the body shop staff ordered the parts first and then took my car in. When I picked up my car, it was completely fixed and appeared as if it had never been in an accident. The staff members communicated and responded quickly.
